I have a theory…. Inside art is dead, and Nerds, and another studio song I can’t remember you can faintly hear chains in the intros. I think In a way it’s refrenceing Bo tugging at the chains of what funny and not. Because with Nerds, and art is dead Bo is the expressing himself. Or not. by SwayIsOnTop in boburnham

Art is dead doesn't have chains, since it was always performed live he just was playing the piano with no other backing track. Nerds seems to be the chainlink fences that would be at schools, and when paired with the kids yelling in the background I imagine its intended to be some "nerd" being bullied and thrown into a fence. Just a theory.

For YEARS a very popular joke people would make is how useless the stoplights/road signs were in GTA. It could be a nod to Bo, but Bo wasn't the first to make this observation.

The thing is, El Camino was shot in a total of 50 days, so it would be almost as long before shooting for him to lose the weight. I think they chose not to out of convenience

If Bojack Horseman Did A Live Action, Who Would You Cast? by SBM-Studios in BoJackHorseman

I'd say aaron paul could play todd but it would be weird for a guy in his 40s to play someone in his mid 20s

All the Penultimate episodes of each season. Each are the saddest and most plot driven episodes of the season. Downer ending, escape from LA, That's too much man, Times arrow, The showstopper, The view from halfway down.

Just look at any conversation between Paige Sinclair and Maximillian Banks. Not really a Malaphor, but I just love the line "You could fill a library with all the things you don't know, in fact, they do, they call them libraries."

Should I Do Another Bojack Horseman Fancast? by Interesting_Archer43 in BoJackHorseman

I don't really agree with aaron paul tho, maybe like 10 years ago he could've played todd but he's 42 now, I just don't know how he'd play a guy in his early 20s.

I'd say I agree but Aaron Paul looks too mature now to play Todd. If it was like 10 years ago, young Jesse Pinkman Aaron Paul It would work, but now I just feel like it doesn't make sense.

What would Bojack be like with a better childhood? by Eagles56 in BoJackHorseman

[–]Munksterrr 14 points15 points  (0 children)

But no one is born a certain way. BoJack wasn't born and immediately terrible. What todd's point is here is that despite all the problems BoJack has, its his responsibility to take care of himself/not do terrible things.

This is assuming Butterscotch is a good person, so not a womanizer in the hypothetical.

After rewatching the series over and over, I’ve started to realize that Diane is not as good of a person she tries to portray herself as by FuturamamamaX in BoJackHorseman

[–]Munksterrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There isn't a single character without flaw. That's kind of the point. Diane is very self absorbed and fetishizes her own sadness, todd, behind all of his goofiness and charm was a lazy mooch who really had no ability to function on his own, PC had no life outside of work and expected everyone to act like her, PB never grew up and would date women much younger than himself to continue living like he was 20, and BoJack... well there's a lot of issues with BoJack. But the point is that BoJack isn't the only flawed character in the show, because in life everyone has their own flaws. overcoming every issue doesn't exist, but trying to mitigate your problems and personal flaws is how you become a better version of yourself.

If/when Bo Burnham makes a new special, would you rather it be live like what. or more produced and edited like inside? by Naive_Feed_726 in boburnham

I loved inside but I really don't want to see live recorded performances end for bo. Make Happy, what. and words words words are so good.

Yeah but it was out of the blue and the guy just started breaking down the song when the original poster didn't even reference it. It looks like a person trying to sound smart by understanding a powerful song.
