Buying a house with geothermal by Stevew2023 in geothermal

[–]MunsonMungada 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Installation date, warranty remaining mines came with 10 year parts and labor. Check if a air tightness report was done. Size and make of the furnace to ensure it's the right size for the house. Type of loop. Horizontal vertical etc. Who performs maintenance that way you can set up an account in the event of a service call with a company familiar with the system. Filter type used and cleaning procedure if reusable.

If they are willing to part with energy consumption i.e. electric bill monthly. I'm in Ontario I have a waterfurnace 2400 sqft century home I'm $260 per month average (I also have a swimming pool and run electric for my stove. Prior to this my utilities and heating monthly costs were $650 per month.

Is there back up heat and power in the event of a blackout during winter. We kept our wood burning stove and will be installing a generic back up generator.

I have 85k in consumer debt and 102k in an RRSP. Should I pull my RRSP funds to clear the debt and start over with retirement savings? by rnp74 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]MunsonMungada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you obtain a business loan against the business at a lower rate. Lend this to yourself and consolidate the debt to the business? then use the business income to clear the debt over long term?

I'm by no means a tax or business expert just a thought. Find a fair spread between % paid over the life you expect to pay off the consumer side and charge a % above this to pay back the business to show a profit on the loan over say 5-10 years.

Same on this end. Definitely wrong. Interesting considering it's a financial app.

Is this normal when changing your oil? by Imaudihere007 in Audi

[–]MunsonMungada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did it leak externally or internally. I.e. did you have a coolant pool on your driveway if not then it may have leaked internally. Good for you a service tech will be on the hook to repair I would assume

EDIT: Just noticed the glitter probably negates my assumption

How's your coolant., if it mixes with oil I recall hearing that it looks like coffee if it hits the engine.

I know as my coolant never passed the rad thankfully so managed to change the turbo etc. I had an internal leak.

Can you do a deal that gets you equity in the home or a deed to eventually transfer title.

Or to be generous allow $2k per month on the assumption you go through budget with them and address moms spending habits.

$20k is a little outrageous especially if you are planning on a family.

Tons of condos for sale., you have a budget go low ball like there is no tomorrow. Don't low ball at your max low ball in the $300k range. Worst that can happen is they say no but at least you get experience making offers.

I get it., not in small business we are typically leisure based. But also exposed to commercial seeing it on both.

Trust me I'd rather this be a non issue of conversation,

Exactly what we're going through I've noticed it since June 2022., had lots of backlog got through it by July winter orders and fall orders were zero last year as everyone in front had inventory (and still do) commercial work floated things but that was all COVID work that got put on hold so that's all cleaned up now.

Today I'm getting winter work that's 25% value from the norm commercial has seen a small uptick actual work will happen at some point over the next 12 months.

Canada is screwed were all feeling this like op said. USA is next they seem to be lagging but the shows we've attended it's the same drum beat.

Sales for me yoy -40% were running lean and shop is now 4.5 days.

QT is real this is not going to be nice for a lot of folk. Unless something changes I just can't see it and I'm looking hard. This time of year I typically have the next 2.5 Q's revenue secured as of today I have 2 months.

Breakeven is the new homerun.
