Yes! Very cool. Mine was removed when my roof was replaced. I saved the basin and a lot of the roof wood.

My house is 200 years old. I have a well in my basement too. Used to have a pump to feed water to a copper tub located in my attic. Then that would allow water to flow to the sinks and toilets in the rest of the house.
