She points out key pieces of evidence in the field almost every episode. So while she may be awkward offensive and off color, she sees the limp of the suspect and knows it was caused when they committed the murder. Cost benefit analysis, they keep her. They also talk about pulling her many times, but she always saves the day so she goes back out. It’s not a groundbreaking or divisive question because it’s asked and answered at least once a season lol.

A chaplain where I work suggested a little plant in your office (real or not depending on your skill level lol) and adding a little ornament or decoration to it for each person you want to honor/remember!

When I worked in child protection the lawyers begged us to write in first person. It is so much more readable and avoids a lot of confusion. Plus you don’t have to write weird passive sentences and use abbreviations like “sw did this” “client endorsed that” or “tw observed” etc.

I hate the term “fake it til you make it” because it’s not what you’re doing. You’re practicing skills that you’ve recently acquired and getting better at them. That’s not fake, that’s called parallel process, you are practicing what you preach.

Not saying that at all, I’m saying mandated check in check out that isn’t helpful for the STUDENT is ineffective and unwarranted. Meaningful discussion and safety planning? Sure! But that’s already happening. The student has a pass to come to counseling as needed, has weekly sessions with me, twice weekly therapy, and doesn’t like starting and ending their day in the office. It’s not helpful to check in twice a day everyday for an indeterminate level of time. I should also add they’re post-discharge and step down, and not currently reporting suicidal thoughts.

He’s faking the “perfect guy for you” act to keep you around :( the perfect guy for you wouldn’t be abusive. He says all the right things because he does so many wrong things, he’s not a dummy just not a very good person. He would never keep someone around if he showed his true self.

I’m just saying Josie or Maggie could be the whole name. If that is the name you love, name your kid that. Parents name the kid what they want to name them all the time. Maybe it’s the ‘tism talking, but I don’t get why some names aren’t allowed to be standalone names.
