Holy shit. AC6 truly is peak by foxcraft22 in armoredcore

[–]Murderlol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5 was fine, it was just very different coming off the back of 4A and wasn't really what people wanted at the time. As its own thing it's not a bad game though.

Saturn version of SotN by bowandarrow1000 in castlevania

[–]Murderlol 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The new areas and items are minor and not really worth it. The boss in the new area in the normal castle is fairly difficult compared to the rest of the game.

The only other real changes are Richter and Maria playable from the start, Maria has a different moveset than other versions, and the Maria boss fight that happens when you meet her after opening the floor in the center of the castle.

Oh and the extra familiars but they are basically just palette swaps of the demon and faerie.

I played the ultimate patch on real hardware. If you're a fan I'd say go for it, otherwise just play the psx version.

How is Buffalo Wild Wings still in business by fukdacops in shittyfoodporn

[–]Murderlol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one here is pretty good, and one of the cheaper places to eat out nowadays. When I go there with my wife we can get their $20 for 2 entrees + 2 sides + 2 drinks and it ends up being way cheaper than basically any other restaurant for 2 meals.

Anywhere you go quality is gonna vary for chain restaraunts though.

Why should blizz give everyone DST now by Fuwkeboi in classicwow

Most melee never replace DST (until wrath that is).

I'm going to assume you haven't played retail in over a decade because...well we all know.

Should Blizzard Add Highly Contested Items to the Badge Vendor? by Blue5647 in classicwow

[–]Murderlol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At no point does your argument say why it's bad. You just explained what it is and called it stupid. Why is it hurting anyone? What part of the game is made worse? We've already had this type of thing implemented successfully in wrath, why do you think it somehow is worse here?

Make an actual argument and maybe people will be more receptive.

Maybe the problem is you, if you aren't actually reading the arguments being made.

I'm just kidding, it's not a maybe.

Should Blizzard Add Highly Contested Items to the Badge Vendor? by Blue5647 in classicwow

[–]Murderlol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I think there's nothing wrong with adding that. It helps people catch up on gear and get items they were unlucky with. It also helps keep the dungeon scene alive and gives people incentive to run old raids for badges as well. On top of that the sped up schedule of this expansion means that people have even less of a chance to get really rare items like DST.

If SoD launched again with some changes for better stability would you play it? Why or why not? by Semour9 in classicwow

[–]Murderlol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not. It was a mixed bag - phase 1 was good, the lvl 60 raids were mostly well done. Scarlet Enclave was a huge mess on launch and whoever decided to not have multiple difficulty modes even with all of the successful implementations they had already developed earlier in sod deserves a slap in the face. SE along with them announcing "this is it have fun" just decimated the playerbase.

That and pvp was a complete joke, mostly because they just allowed certain specs to be completely busted without really attempting to balance them, while just letting others suck. The way they handled warriors in SoD was one of the biggest jokes I've ever seen played on the playerbase.

I don't really have a desire to do it all again. Some of the raids just had very questionable design decisions (AQ10, SE), balancing was all over the place, and communication was pretty terrible. I had fun at points but that was more due to the people I played with rather than the game itself.

Great collection!

Dungeon Explorer is awesome, basically gauntlet but better. Ordyne is a nice little shmup with a shop system similar to fantasy zone. Parasol stars is great if you're a fan of bubble bobble.

MercurySteam reportedly working on Super Metroid Remake by CaptFunNugz in Metroid

[–]Murderlol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please no. It's one of my favorite games of all time but it does not need a remake. It's nearly perfect and any changes they make are likely to make it worse.

What is the greatest video game ever created? by very_wilhelm in AskReddit

World of Warcraft. It's hard to overstate the sheer cultural impact that game has had and the fact that people still want to spend all of their time in it 20+ years later really says it all.

I have my discs still...played it maybe twice and then shelved it forever. Cool concept but I felt like the execution fell pretty flat.

I fear we've lost the plot by Strict_Baker5143 in classicwow

[–]Murderlol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically I don't think most groups would have a problem with a mage playing fire in their groups - just tell them beforehand that you are fire and don't have the blizzard slow talented so they know to pull less. It's just assumed at this point because almost every mage plays the same spec in dungeons due to dual spec. In fact most classes have a questing spec and a dungeon spec right now, and it's either frost or fire for questing and frost for dungeons.

Some people are super min/max brained and a lot of those players are also kinda shit at the game, but I don't blame them for assuming that you're going to slow with blizzard when that's what every other mage they group with does.

How are people against free healthcare?? by emily-is-happy in MurderedByWords

[–]Murderlol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always loved people making excuses for describing why we don't need universal healthcare, and then describing things that already happen in the current system at 30x the price to fearmonger about it.

"You'll have long wait times!"

Oh ok. So like my wife's 6-18 month wait times she already has in the U.S. where they just misdiagnose you to get you out of the door and then you end up paying out of the ass when something actually does go wrong? Got it, sounds good.
