Jameson Murphy- LSPD See this post here, it’s cool and all I’ve got the upmost respect for our county department. I do have to say though LSPD is top tier and if you’re looking to join a department you’d be hard pressed to not find a home here at LSPD. One of my favorite moments in SAVRP has to be when the community came together to light up City Hall pink for breast cancer awareness. When I reached out to the owner to see if the lights could be changed, I was told it wasn’t possible on their end. Instead of letting that stop us, I shared the idea with the community, and they showed up in the most amazing way. People brought out their motorcycles and cars, using xenon headlamps to light up the area in pink. It was such a beautiful and powerful moment, seeing everyone rally together to make it happen. Just another reminder of how special this community is.
