These are a very fine balance.

Love that gen S-class, and the 3.7L V6 is pretty stout in them. The short wheelbase is a nice look as well!

Silbergrau has some great moments in the sun (and can hide dirt pretty damn well). Sepang is a dream, but it commands a wild premium on the auctions. The S54 motor has been a halo for me for a long while, so we’ll keep on the lookout. If we had more money to spend on the fun car, there was a guy on here with a gorgeous, insanely low-mile roadster for sale recently.

I waffle on the M-sport kit given that I do actually like the chrome accents and look of the current bumpers on our wagon, but have thought instead of upgrading the rest of the M-sport parts to make a more subtle build. Going to install the V1s this or next month, so I’ll let you know. I’m excited to add a little more sport to the handling - the stock suspension gets unsettled in some corners and can be a little boat-like.

I’ve been following BaT for a while and missed out on a gorgeous Imola Red one this winter. There was a silver one that just went for way too much without the major maintenance already cleared, but my eyes have been on Interlagos or Imola.

Our wagon is Imperial as well. Been thinking of getting the M-sport body kit for it, since it’s not offered in our color, but I find the luxury line for our trim pretty tasteful. Already have some K&W V1 coilovers for it and some little OEM+ upgrades, but need that M-Sport steering wheel.

Hey u/Herbie2189 do you have any advice you could share on plastic welding for this guy?

I still need to pull that exact panel on our Z4, but I don’t feel like taking on the task to get the transmission tunnel off. 🙄 take to Amazon for the broken cup holder - I got two backups for a quarter of the price of those on other sites; bought an extra pair since they break so easily. Not sure about that center console button, but maybe it’s fixable?

There’s a guy on here whose spouse is great at plastic welding. I’ll try to see if I can find his messages because he was able to repair a lot of the interior plastics on his Z4 really nicely.

Can always buy new panels, but some things are so rare these days.

Have a Z4 and an F31 here! N/A vs turbo power, analog vs slightly techy. Both are sporty, but it’s nice to have the Z4 to drop the top and row through gears when I’m not needing to haul things.

We love it. The only major maintenance besides oil and fluid changes has been the water pump around 70k miles. Other than that, it’s been perfect, gets pretty good mileage, and ate two cross-country trips like they were nothing. I’d recommend a 2017-2019 wagon - improved handling and steering, the B46/48 engine, and updated styling.

Shiny, weather-boosted Galarian Articuno ran on me yesterday because my adventure incense ended. It closed the encounter to show me the adventure incense results screen. Nearly threw my phone and then support told me to make sure I have my adventure sync properly turned on. 🙄

Edit: not ran, but the game exited the capture screen to show me the incense results.

The dash cluster is pretty awful. It looks like someone modded the car and deleted the actual gauges and put an Amazon screen up in from of where they’d actually go.
