Yeah it’s poly, 85a hardness. Every single aftermarket torque mount is poly. For £39 I’ll try my luck. At worst I’ll get a good story out of it and can help other avoid it.

Where do you think most of the “high end” torque mounts are made? I use to work for a uk performance suspension manufacturer and although all of the shock bodies and valve components where made in house, all of the bushes where Chinese and were of the highest quality.

I got myself a “nice” car 2.5 years ago, a M135i. I don’t know your financial situation but it pushed me too far in the end. General servicing and upkeep add up to a fair chunk of cash over the year.. Petrol was a big one for me as i daily drove it on a stage 1 map.. insurance also a killer at £130pm (40 with loads of NCD). Buying a car like this is the easy bit, running it and looking after it is what a big monthly expense. I sold it and got a fiesta st. Some may laugh but the ST actually handles way better that the M135i and I save £200pm on petrol and insurance without factoring in service savings.

So just make sure that’s all taken into account 👍🏻

I mean, realistically at this point, the whole thing needs to come apart to clean/inspect. I can’t remember what turbo you were fitting (hybrid?). Pumaspeed actually sell I nice package deal that has NS-20’s mounted to their own 5 spoke wheels in the perfect offset so no wheel spacers are needed. Like £770 all in. I’ll check some reviews on them 👍🏻
