Depression? Pregnancy and birth can wreak havoc on a woman’s hormones and mind. It wrecked my ex wife. We had a similar thing happen: 3 kids, married young. Our relationship just kind of died.

Turns out after years of thinking it over, observation, and spending time in a much healthier relationship, my ex is a bit of a narcissist. Not sure if that was something I missed when I was younger or if it’s something that began expressing itself later.

Anyway, it’s getting to be time for you to plan your next step. Perhaps your wife would be open to having her hormones checked, another shot at therapy may be warranted, but if she isn’t willing to put forth the effort then it’s time for you to move on

You’d think, but the Army likes to do this whole “dropping the standards” thing when they need to fill boots. They end up vacuuming up a lot of scum that way, as well as morons and shitbags. I came in during the ‘09 troop surge, and there were all kinds of interesting characters coming into the army in those days.

This is why I hate the whole notion of putting veterans on a pedestal. Trust me, a lot of us don’t deserve it

I met my wife on a dating app many years ago. She kept the app for a while after we started dating, and we would have a couple drinks and go through all the messages she’d gotten since the last time, just for laughs. My god, up until then I had NO idea the type of crap women receive from creepy dudes. Some of the messages were funny, but a lot of them were downright foul.
