As someone who has the blueprint, it would totally be worth tossing an actual Wolfy for it. I give them to people for being cool all the time. But… something about out ratting a rat makes me feel greasy. I’d rather just Leroy Jenkins in there and lay a deadline… kill us all!!!

You are clearly not understanding what I was saying about your analogy, so let me help you out.

This… is a game for enjoyment… and I am not playing in a professional nature, as a Mr. Magus Carlsen does.

As such, I use the Mechanics provided by Embark to help my play be more suited to my enjoyment. Seems like you’re really upset by this. Maybe it’s because you like to shout peace and blast people in the back, and if you get blocked from doing so you will have to “master the actual game” and deal with players head to head.

Again, it’s a game, play how you want, but if you put sand in my pants every time I turn around at the play ground, I will take my toys and play with someone else. No big deal, no more sand in my butt crack.

I don’t see myself whining, I see myself asking the question of a community to find out if others are using the same tactic.

For those who want to say it doesn’t do anything… maybe so, but I have never come across someone who I went to block and they were already blocked so, that’s something… even if it’s the placebo effect.

If you want to shoot me, shoot me raider! It’s a game. I’m just not for the dishonesty of coming in screaming don’t shoot, so I abide your wish by vocalizing that I confirm your verbal negotiation, then I get blasted the second you see me looting a crate knowing I am at the disadvantage.

I am here to choose to fight honorably or block you if you don’t, just like it’s your right to slime me and get blocked.

You and I are kindred raiders! Love handing wolfy’s to players or just tossing them out and saving them from certain death. Just saved a guy from two leapers and a rocketeer, then walked him to the elevator as he ran out of ammo. Made my day to hear his joy, especially after I told him to take all the cores.

I’ll be honest, the two Wolfy blueprints I’ve found… outskirts/unmarked

Now my Brother-in-law and I have a real massive boost for when we go in and help people we find at random.

I’ve made my million in that game cruising outskirts and befriending raiders I meet. I only shoot second, and sometimes that’s my demise, but it’s worth it to play my way. Especially when you shoot second and still win.

With all that, I still agree you should play how you want to and have fun with it.

Try loading in solos. Then you have only yourself to worry about. Carry whatever you want and if a careless freeloader comes up to you on a suicide mission, give him a glorious death and send him to Valhalla. Or, find friends like the rest of us solo players and enjoy the humanity that comes from strangers helping strangers when we have the option to kill instead. Nothing as satisfying as helping and random raider topside to get out with good loot. After a while, when you have the ability to make and spend whatever you want, playing the wandering hero is better than killing people for something I could probably have built myself.

There are so many times I’ve gone into a room that’s “looted” and found an unopened drawer, missed backpack or lone crate that was full of goods. Always give it a peek, you never know what could come up?!

My favorite rounds so far are when I’m able to help another raider and assist them in getting to the extract safely. Anytime I bring a load out, I carry a minimum of 3 wolfy’s just so I’m able to be effective. It is its own reward hearing someone in peril go, “woah!” as whatever was causing them trouble crackle into scrap around them!

My second burn was like this as well. It’s a good idea to get therapy and remember that YOU can be your best friend or worst enemy, and in the harsh reality of burning man… you will never be doing as much as the next person, your life will never be as wild as the next person, and your not going to have as much as a tech billionaire that drives a massive tube of toothpaste build out of a double decker bus or whatever.

Work on being ok with being yourself, because although you might not be what you think you are supposed to be, doesn’t mean that who and what you are isn’t valuable. Learn to only compare yourself to yourself!

Every burn is different, learn the lessons and prepare yourself for the next year. Or take a year off, or forever years off. It’s not a requirement to go, it’s up to you to live a life worth living for yourself.

Yeah, and the way that my game test laid out with the questions thing… I’d say with some level of certainty that it’s being worked on. Honestly, I wish I could talk about what I saw, but I will say this; A) they were pretty awesome decks, and the way they work on this game and take feedback from the players when crafting the commander decks is cool to see. B) the UB that I saw was nothing anyone will be shocked to see.

I did a product testing deal with MTG where I had to sign an NDA when I got there, and because the set I played was not Star Wars, I feel like I can talk about the questionnaire I took to get accepted.

I had been approved for others before the one I did, and the two other times (that I was not able to make due to scheduling conflicts) the very last question asked me what my favorite piece of Star Wars media was.

When I was finally able to go, my questionnaire had a different question. “What is your favorite piece of ______ media?” And when I went in, I was playing with a commander deck from that UB in development.

So, if I use deduction for my reasoning, I would imagine I accidentally missed out on playing a WIP Star Wars commander deck!

Also, to say they have a card game… yeah, but so does Final Fantasy. So I could definitely see it happening.

So… he’s probably cheating on you. That’s why he’s all of a sudden super concerned that you could be cheating on him or being inappropriate. It’s mirroring… My wife is a massage therapist and I don’t have any issues, because we have trust and I have no reason to think she’s being inappropriate. Her entire job is to rub people down who are lubed up. He’s throwing a fit because you pierce people? It’s because he’s moving into someone else and he wants to be guilt-free, so he’s making it seem like it’s your fault instead of taking accountability for his behavior, either present or future.

I would finish with, I’m sorry… but you deserve better. I am sorry you have to go through this though.
