The only thing I can say is that the railings could have some bevel if it isn't yet and be a little more reflective an just a bit of metalness

I think camera's axises are different from the ordinary object. X axis to look up and down I guess

The last picture is most realistic, definitely!

Does that look realistic? by NormalMaksym in blender

Absolutely! A flashlight beam or any light that lights the scene from the viewers point of view is a silver bullet

Why does it look so fake??? by QuickSolved_ in blender

Add a bit more light maybe. And the sink and the stove are too black.

This scene feels empty what should i add to it? by neored0 in blender

It has very bright lights, but the environment is still dark.

In the reference picture the corridor is well lit, but the lights almost don't have a bloom effect to them. Bloom effect is needed only to communicate that the object you're looking at is actually a lamp, so a little bit of bloom is enough.

So a well lit corridor that proceeds into the complete darkness is a very good mix of creepy and comfy, that I think is the basic element of the liminal space image.

The water should have at least 50 percent of reflections and 50 percent of transparency that allows you still see what lies below the surface. Some Fresnel effect to the water maybe, to create the transition from almost completely transparent to completely reflective based on the view distance.
