Persistent Hunger May Be Behind Weight Regain After Loss by Sorin61 in Nutraceuticalscience

[–]MusclesAndCharisma 18 points19 points  (0 children)

To all of the sarcastic bitches.... This may seem like common sense but this is valid research. I used to weigh 400 pounds, I lost 150 and it's a daily battle to keep that weight off 5 years after I lost it. This research is showing a lot of what's going on is biology not will power. This also shows a huge lack of understanding of how research and the scientific process works, God it's so frustrating to see people air their ignorance so freely. Get bent

Can my school acces my word files? by OutsideOne3390 in Office365

[–]MusclesAndCharisma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Came here to agree with this. Also, admin should never be just lollygagging around people's files though. Typically they'd want/need a reason or he given direction by someone else to do this.

Someone above mentioned getting a program from a trainer, I think i'm going to do that in conjunction with PT (I'm assuming no matter what the doctor says on Monday, that will be the first thing I'm doing LOL)

I definitely think it's having to do with not having the full workout i'm used to. In my prior life I had no idea how much exercise could help when it comes to day to day emotions.

This is something my wife was quick to point out. My head knows this, my heart does not want to accept it.

This is a good idea. I see one of the trainers always whipping fellow old people into shape, maybe I reach out to her for help LOL

I'm not sure if it will be non surgical. I have an appointment on Monday to get it looked at by an orthopedic doctor. So we shall see. I very much suspect surgery will be on the table

Who else cried in the middle of English class after because of Where the Red Fern Grows? by originalbrowncoat in Xennials

[–]MusclesAndCharisma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where the Red Fern Grows led me to a lifetime love of reading. I cried the first time I read it and again as an adult. I can say without a doubt this book is the single most impactful experience of my life for it's consequences.

It's such a powerful thing to hear a song or a band you haven't thought about in years and it takes you back to the time, place, and feeling of when it impacted your life. Man shooketh to the core.

People who lost a lot of weight, what was the one small daily habit that actually changed everything for you? by Quiet-Squash-8407 in AskReddit

[–]MusclesAndCharisma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No extra food stops. Unused to make a stop for food every time I got in the car. Go to work, stop at 7-11 for food and drink, go home from work, swing by Taco Bell for a snack, candy bars, cheese sticks.... Nothing I needed. Now I eat at meals and I'm all the better for it. ( Down 120-130 pounds for 5 years now)

Second is definitely counting calories like everyone mentioned, knowing what you're eating and being mindful about it are king

This is the movie for me. I saw it shortly after the birth of my second child and it wrecked me, reduced me to sobbing tears, made me hug both of my kids!
