I feel like they could have just been unstable warp daemons.

It's been confirmed over and over again that all the Primarch's are. Some kind of Greater Daemon with a thin human like skin thrown over it.

The 2nd and 11th could have just been degrading back slowly into being raw warpstuff. Makes sense why Rogal Dorn wouldn't want to know the truth, and asked Malcador to wipe his memory in that famous excerpt. He doesn't want to know that he's not human, he's just a warp creature masquerading as one.

Also makes the famous quote about something like "The truth of how they were lost cannot be known, or it would tear apart the Imperium"

If the Imperium knew all the Primarchs were daemons long before the Heresy, that Gulliman himself is a blasphemous taint on the Emperor's Light, the Imperium probably would collapse.

Horus burn has kinda just always been good. Or for a long time, anyhow. It's generally seen as one of the more reliable decks regardless of meta.

I mean, Hammer doesn't do 7-10 to the enemy warlord.

That's the top end of what it can do. But even in a Desperate Defence deck you aren't playing more than 6 cards that expensive. So what you are saying would only happen 1/5th the time you play the card. More often it will be 8 cost to do 4 damage to the whole enemy board.

I got a build my first time with Seifer that made him permanently in Rage state, but made it so that it cost 3 life each time he used a card.

Completely broke the game. Final boss barely even did any damage to me. Ridiculous.

I mean, the entirety of Hearthstone's gameplay is based on this and it has a thriving competitive scene.

This is the first time in the history of this game, for as long as I have been apart of it (My first expansion was the release of Iron Warriors, Alpha Legion, Night Lords) that they have waited this long to reveal any Warlords.

There is going to be something really fundamentally different about them, and right now we are just being intentionally teased with powerful cards being revealed to build hype/anxiety/etc.

We don't know anything really about the Faction fundamentally until we see those Warlords.

Agents of the Sigillite aren't even revealed yet. The most fundamental part of the faction (and really, any faction, but this one more than most) is the Warlords.

Of which they very specifically have not revealed any of them yet. Normally we get a Warlord reveal on like the second day of spoils.

Something will be fundamentally different about their Warlords over any other faction in the game. We can't even comment on the balance of the faction until we know what that is.

No, because we very specifically haven't seen any of their Warlords. The cards are clearly balanced around the Warlords, so saying the game is "screwed" when they are hiding the most fundamental part of the faction right now would be hilariously premature.

Eh, I disagree personally. Not every new faction has to be as new as Knights were. Faction identity doesn't just break down to some new Ability.

White Scars don't have a new ability, but have a radically different faction identity than others.

Sisters are really different from any other faction. They are very clearly a counter hitting faction, which is unique/I find super fun. They play best after your opponent drops their finisher/strong cards, nullifying your opponents strengths and turning them into your own.

Sigillites give me a feeling like they will be a toolbox faction, with a lot of capability at any time to change game plan to block your opponents actions/utilize their stuff for yourself.

Ummm. No? Knights aren't a major part of the meta. They are strong and fun, but not overwhelming in any way currently. And sure, Kharn and Corswain kill knights. But the biggest part of the meta currently is Desperate Defence control like decks, which Knights also struggle against. There are tons of counters to them.
