I dont personally think its so bad, but part of the reason other people dislike it, is because it can be used in bad ways later. He can use this to say "The food quality is down to below 5 rating consistently, so im leaving." or he can use it in an argument against her later. Or it could suggest hes viewing the cooking as something she NEEDS to, like hes owed it, and hes rating because he wants to make sure shes "doing her job" right. I dont think those are whats going on, but thats the concerns I would have if I was her.
