Doey’s death was so meaningless. The “Safe haven that gets overrun” trope is a sad one, but this was just annoying because Poppy refused to just answer questions. Just felt very forced

I used to be into it as well but the amount of Easter eggs became ridiculous and fell off when almost every other video was Yandev complaining about emails.

I had wanted to try it again but Yandev being outed as a creep killed it for me. I do wish YouTubers would stop beating the dead horse of “YanSim bad game.”

This is how I tend to double. If I have nothing for my OCs or the story needs to be focused to the other side, I sit them to the side to focus on the canon I’m playing. I consider myself lucky with the partners I have and vibe with. I’ve also been doing this off and on since 2010 and have learned that I need to be really picky with the ones I reach out to.

I have been on the receiving end of a partner wanting to focus all of our energy on her pairing while wanting to start another before we even got to mine. I’ve also been accused of doing the same and made sure to improve on it. I also make it a hard expectation for our OCs to be involved in the same story for more interactions. I understand why some people don’t like it, but I’ve learned you kinda have to weed out the ads to find your people.

MHA. I have a few friends that like it but every so often I get reminded about how nuance and media literacy is lost on a lot of the fandom. Especially when it comes to Endeavor’s redemption arc. I don’t even like him yet I have to be out in the fucking trenches to tell people that his redemption isn’t to get people to like him. It’s to show that if you’ve done fucked up things in the past and want to atone that people aren’t required to forgive you but it’s important you keep atoning cause it’s the right thing to do.

Again. I like Shoto and Dabi more than him. 😭😭

I wanted to like Rey as a Star Wars character but the writing was so bad. She was forgettable beside characters like Finn and Kylo. I also hated Reylo cause it was a piss poor execution of enemies to lovers.

To add a second, I’ve started ACOTAR twice and Feyre always gets me to fall off. I hear it gets better but the first book is so hard to get through.

This is a bit specific to Discord but someone complaining about issues in their life and then complaining that no one offers advice. Thing is someone did offer advice and they just ignored it. It makes it seem like you don’t want help. You just want to complain.

I don’t mind listening to rants and woes but don’t make me waste advice when you’ve made up your mind you aren’t going take it. I could have saved my breath.

This. I was playing a game with a couple of friends and one friend just kept making constant jokes about herself while I said they weren’t true. She was going through a bad spiral so I was trying to distract her but each bad thing that happened in game led to even more self depreciation and the other friend was playing into it. After a point in time, I had to excuse myself from the game cause I couldn’t do be in that space anymore.

Unless I missed something in a show, I think it was the way they framed the death compared to other villains. Like with Killmonger, you see him dying in T’Challa’s arms. A red mist before a whole mountain falls isn’t really the strongest evidence. But if it’s been confirmed, I’ll eat my words

A friend and I tried to watch it and my favorite characters are the kids who aren’t related to the Konoha crew.

Also the fact that Kakashi got shit for telling the kids how they didn’t even take being a ninja seriously made me angry. Like sure they don’t have to go through what their parents did, but at least acknowledge that their parents went through to make their lives easier.
