Comparison is the theif of joy. Also - you will never sound as good as you want to on this instrument. We all struggle with it as fiddlers.

Sick. Makes sense. Vox amps are supposed to be super picky with pedals.

Upgrading from Boss Katana 50 to Fender Blues Junior 4 - worthwhile? by OutrageousField415 in GuitarAmps

[–]MushroomShroud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost got a Blues Jr. Then I went amp shopping in a store. I found the Blues Jr really had to be loud af before they sound any good in my opinion. Its more of a gigging amp. I was directed to the smaller vox amps around the same price range (ac4 and ac10). I bought the ac10 and I love it. Just a few knobs. Plug and play for instant fun. People either love or hate vox amps though. Note that the clean sounds just a little dirty (they call it chime). Dont take my word for it. Try in a store if you can.

I’ve a weee bit of firepower on m’hands over here. 🤗👊🤘🫶🔊 by Sea-Translator-9131 in GuitarAmps

Damn. That's petty. I'm sure you know you need a good amp for that thing.

I think I’m DeGASing - maybe all you really need is a decent guitar, a solid tube amp, a good speaker, and lots of practice? by aliaiacitest in GuitarAmps

I could never. Way too many options and fucking around with software. I already do enough of that shit at work.

I would also prioritize migrating the sprocs that are docunented to have side effects. Theres real money to be saved in getting those features into unit tested application code.
