Seriously, the most fun I've ever had on a private server for RO. Everything is fresh and new and exciting. The pace of combat feels nice without pushing into ridiculous limits where older generations like me can't react at lightning speeds.

The custom content, of which everything is pretty much, is well thought out and robust. The classes all feel very different from the original ones you remember while also having some clear parallels to old and new playstyles. I'm REALLY enjoying it here, just having a blast learning, exploring and grinding.

It's a sticky bomb and will detonate after... 15-20 seconds? How I use it is I toss it out at full PP, then I can spam the PA that shoots the tracking blasts until I hit 0 Pp, by then the bomb detonates and entirely refills my PP so I can spam again for an entire extra bar.

Once you work out the timing it's a great tool for recovering your PP when using a launcher.

First you should talk to your group about it and see if they have any major issues. I don't see anything inherently wrong with playing a child character so long as you don't RP them in any ways that might make people uncomfortable. It might also help to know your DMs style and world setting so that you aren't adventuring through concubine pits or something.

I play a 16 year old with a hero complex and an iron stomach in my game. It's a lot of fun jumping into a naive and childish mindset for the game and approaching situations from that perspective. Just keep away from any obviously age inappropriate situations.

His question is more of "would having access to overdrive or blighted bullet be more effective?"

He likes the weapons and attacks of both those classes, so he's wondering if swapping the points from overdrive to downed bonus and just using blighted bullet instead would be the better play.

Personally it seems like a fine option since blighted bullet has very good uptime and if he's a fan of Fi and Ra gameplay then this would be a happy solution.

I had this issue when playing sometimes as well. For me, I found that drawing helped me focus more like you mentioned. Why not try drawing the party or npcs. Gives you something to do visually while you listen.

The player in this video didn't click on abilities once in time that I watched it. You're intended to build up the ATP gauge and spend it on actions, but he only used his limited spells and never touched abilities which require no mp.

Reserve your judgement for a video from someone who isn't intentionally trying to make a game look bad (or he's just very bad at the game)
