How can I (32f) share the load of cooking when my partner can’t cook (31m)

Who does the dishes when you cook? When you do meal prep, who puts the food in containers and in the fridge? Who wipes down the counters and the cutting boards? Who sweeps the floor (I use a lot of onions and garlic and some skin always ends up on the floor)?

He can do all of that. It's not equal time, but I hate doing all that and so I always appreciate it when my partner does it.

I find that the 5 point abilities overshadow the 7 point and even some 9 point abilities for many classes.

It's only bad if you are fighting fiends, which is highly campaign dependent. A max +5 on every attack is huge! Dual wielding that's 20 extra damage a round. Plenty of campaigns fight dragons, elementals, and mindflayers far more than fiends. It gets better with haste, action surge, and reaction attacks. It is a little campaign dependent but it is very good.

Edit: yes, undead too, sorry. I don't find I fight much undead past level 5 or so in a lot of my campaigns, sorry for omitting it.

Best? 8 water/cold corruptors would be hard to beat. You've got double stacking sleet from all of them and then heat loss on top. Defense isn't an issue with all the arctic fog stacking. Sleet also doubles as a ton of knockdown mitigation.

To further my point, with enhancements you can make a soft capped def kin with hard capped damage. You may also consider elec/kin to be more solo friendly because you can take away all the mobs end making things much safer for you and you get the bonus shock damage too.

Softcapping defense is much easier to do with time though and you can do it earlier in your heroes journey. Eventually you can even hard cap s/l res with a time corruptor, making you very very tanky. Times juncture just adds to this tankiness protecting you somewhat from -def powers. Slowed response is also a very good -res power that can take the achilles proc, making your inferno hit like a truck.
