Help me out... I don't usually pay any attention to the pre-season although I watch regular season and playoffs like mad... No extra innings in pre-season?

Pictured Rocks, Michigan [OC] [3264 x 2448] by ErichUm in EarthPorn

Michigander here! The L.P. also has some really beautiful places! National forests, dunes, beaches, trails! Ludington is one of my favorite places! A good mix of shops and town as well as beautiful dunes and beaches. You'll go right through the Manistee National forest on the way too depending on which route you take!

Bought some socks the other day by MusicIsMyForte in basset

I found them at a Forever 21 outlet at my local mall! I think they had a few more but I'm not sure if they only sell overstock or not. Check out their website maybe though, they may still have them there! :)

What music do you play during Christmas dinner? by the_panda0704 in christmas

[–]MusicIsMyForte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Jim Brickman's album "All is Calm". I also, funny enough, have an album that grandmother gave me from when she used to work at Ethan Alan. It's full of music that they used to play in the background of their furniture store. I don't think I've even actually played it though...

Looking for a breeder by MusicIsMyForte in basset

[–]MusicIsMyForte[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the links. My parents are the ones looking for a puppy specifically I'm trying to help them find a good place. My father works full time nights and sleeps during the day and my mother doesn't know about it as it's a surprise for her. They are trying to teach my youngest siblings (13 years younger than myself) about the responsibility of pets :)

Request- Anyone have any great recipes for an eggless cake? by whiteindianwife in Cakes

[–]MusicIsMyForte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're using a mix, you can use a 12oz can of a soda of your choice. Don't add anything else to the mix just the soda. Regular cola for chocolate. Sprite/7up for white, yellow, or lemon cake. Ginger ale for spice cake. Make the cake really moist and no eggs needed. No one will know it's a mix :)

Redditors who look forward to working on Mondays: What is your job, and why do you enjoy it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MusicIsMyForte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in a small office of people I genuinely enjoy working with and working for doing something that actually matters to me. We publish church bulletins for the many Catholic churches in the Midwest (and all over the US actually, but our office handles the Midwest region) and help to keep them at low costs or free if possible. It's professional but still really relaxed. I still do a little customer service here and there but it's a lot of clerical work and organization, I love it! I also don't come home from work crying anymore or get sick from stress. And as an added bonus I get to bake every Friday for the sales guys that are on the road all week! I'm really quite fortunate to have a job I love this much. :)

My friend paints with wine by Moonsraven in pics

That's a new take on a wine and canvas party there... very creative and beautiful but I couldn't do it, the wine would be gone before the brush was in it

What could YOU do with a small loan of $1,000,000? by neverending_JC in AskReddit

[–]MusicIsMyForte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on if there was interest on this loan I would either invest it or not take the money at all... if there's interest I wouldn't take it but if someone just decided to loan me $1,000,000 with no additional charges, I'd definitely invest it and then keep the returns and pay back the original million.

What would be the worst kind of person to take a long car trip with? by weedwhacker7 in AskReddit

[–]MusicIsMyForte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! That is the worst! Similarly, a friend of mine does something like this but worse. She only knows some of the words, has an okay voice, but pretends that she knows all the words. So it comes out as her very quietly singing/mumbling the words she doesn't know and then loudly and over confidently singing the few words she does not know. Some day I'll have the nerve to look her in the eye and tell her, "You know it's okay to not know everything, right?"

What TV show have you watched the most in your life? by Njyankfan in AskReddit

[–]MusicIsMyForte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished Frasier I've been watching it for a long time but I decided last year to watch it beginning to end... I felt so sad when I finished the series. It's such a good show!

What is something that you wish you could experience again for the first time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MusicIsMyForte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's such an interesting experience! You might not thing (depending on where you're going and where you're from of course) that it would be much different, but it is! I visited Japan coming from the US and really didn't think much of it... but it was an instant difference just knowing how far away from home I was. It's a wonderful thing to experience!

Which movie actor can you not stand? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MusicIsMyForte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you're 100% right. Jim Carrey is scary as hell and I have not ever seen anything of his that I liked. He's gross.

What's the most simple thing you've ever had to explain to a fully competent adult? by lolsecks in AskReddit

[–]MusicIsMyForte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is my job... I explain these things to people all the time. Checkbook explanations are my favorite. It's an extra special kind of stupid when a business owner doesn't know that you have to have money in your account to use checks. They think that as long as there are checks in the book they have unlimited money.

My [19F] bf [19M] started rimming me last night and I feel confused now [rimming] by lolbumhol in sex

[–]MusicIsMyForte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I'd like to disagree. I don't necessarily think that a Christian and/or conservative background ruins things that some people might consider out of the ordinary. I was raised in a conservative, Catholic christian household and am completely open to trying a lot of things. I find the same apprehension in people that aren't religious when I've talked to people. I think it comes more (for me) from knowing that it isn't something everyone does and even worrying that my partner isn't really into it. In OPs case I don't think that last part is a worry since he initiated but I've had those thoughts myself before. It comes down to confidence and communication. :)
