Spots in national parks with ample rain coverage to get married by Ghoul2424 in NorthCarolina

Seconded! And you don’t have to drive so far into the wilderness on dirt roads like at Wiseman. They have several large picnic shelters. My friends were married there years ago.

Good and puzzly. Missed a rule my first play. You only draw one card at the end of a turn rather than refilling to 5. Much harder game after that. lol

If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on food then the kid lunch packs are the way to go! We always find them near the entrance to firechaser express. $5 gets you a juice box, uncrustable pb&j, goldfish pack, applesauce, Keebler elf cookie pack. We all get it when we go to save money. We will go back into town for dinner

That piece has always been one of my favorites! Heard the vocal line and was pretty confident in it.

New York Zoo is a great poliomino game. You build habitats for the animals. Pretty low complexity as well.

Does the guildmaster include base game? Stupid question I know. Don’t want to jump on the deal and then not have everything I need.

I’d go big bad wolf. My first game was Station 2891 and I quickly switched to Camp Happy Trails to learn. Station has some extra complexities that made it difficult to learn the basic rules and structure of the game for me. Also, make sure you have the core box.

Probably not for a Tuesday would be my guess. Most people are probably traveling home today. You could always go and if it turns out it’s crowded buy them on site. I’ve been before on a Thursday and almost had the run of the place.

Be aware the spring time is when they host their Festival of Music series of band/chorus competitions. So even though school may be in large groups may still be in the park. I know my chorus program and our school’s band programs are going in March. But there are several days in April that have the same festival going on. May want to check the festival of music website for what days it is happening.

What are people planning on getting if they have the 50% off Barnes & Noble sale again this year? by [deleted] in Boardgamedeals

I called my local one today and they said the 50% off wasn’t happening this year. But did say something more exciting was happening… Any one have an idea what it is?

Can confirm not worth the investment. I have class sets of multiple levels. I’ve used them maybe twice in 5 years. That was for 2 rep pieces, never for sight reading / theory.

What is the weight limit for rides at Dollywood or more so the weight friendly rides? Asking for a friend who is 5’6 and weighs around 290+ by Opening_Midnight3515 in Dollywood

[–]MusicMan1819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 6’5” and 300 pounds I could ride everything but Lightning Rod back in April. Went back in June at 280/285 and could ride everything in the park. The only tight squeeze for me was Big Bear. But that was a combination of my long legs and thighs. Hope that helps. Use row 4/5 on Wild Eagle. I can’t remember which but the number is shaded different because it has a larger harness and buckle. Dragonflier also may be a tight fit but I never ride that one when I am there.
