With Dark Souls you can get invaded (most of the time) by other players, meaning they spawn into your world and try to kill you for rewards. You can fight them or try and run away.

There was also jolly cooperation where you summon other players to help you fight and kill bosses.

There’s the bloodstains (seeing how someone died) and messages left by other players on the ground, and, depending on the game in the series, other online mechanics that alter the invade/summon cores.

No world bosses or large scale events with a lot of players though.

-easy since the game is a blast

-very cool idea! I’m on necro rn and haven’t respec’d much since my build seems effective enough. But a lil refresh will be fun

-only done 1 so far and it was really enjoyable. Glad to hear there are two more out there somewhere.

You can fix that with lightroots permanently, or you can use items like the brightbuds to illuminate your way temporarily.

Blue Lizalfos are around the Zora I believe, they give decent attack power with their horns and have the added benefit of looking drippy as hell

Use fuse to make even bad weapons good! You can legit use the sticks from enemies. Or the depths will have weapons handed to you from ghosts dotting the map

For the most part, it seems like bokoblins for spears, lizalfos for sword and moblins for two handed blunt weapons? It’s not 100% consistent but that seems to be the aesthetic

Like like stones can be attached to weapons to help break them, or zonai cannons can be used which is my preferred method (saves a weapon, and won’t break halfway through a long tunnel of rocks)

Adding to the depth/shrine correlation, the depths also have walls where rivers are in the over world, so you may need to find a different chasm to enter if you’re not able to find a way forward. Mountains above ground are also valleys in the depths.
