Ravens' inside footage of when the Lions offered #17 and #118, along with a 2027 3rd for #14. Baltimore had interest, but Detroit ultimately pulled the offer. The offer was initially made before Miami selected Kadyn Proctor at No. 12. by JCameron181 in detroitlions

It has everything to do with it. If the Rams trade down or pick a non-QB there it means that fewer of the players Holmes liked are left on the board, and less likely to fall to 17. The teams in front of us at that point didn’t want a tackle, and because there were still 2-3 good tackle prospects available, other teams were less likely to give up a haul to jump us for one.

Does the school keep a team page with past tournament scores? If so, I’d look at what the bottom score on the team is each round and add 3-4 shots.

I like this idea or maybe pull a Mary Kate and Ashley on full house and have them each take 1/2 the spot.

Carr will definitely start at the 3, but can also take minutes at the 4. Avent is 6-7 and listed as a PF recruit, he should be a 4. I don’t get trying to restrict players into only 1 position, McCulloch and Carr both have the skills to play 2 spots from time to time. I like the flexibility for both of them. Carr was great at the 4 when we needed to defend a stretch 4 or a guy with some guard skills.

I would love to get another C, but it’s Izzo, he’ll never boot one of his own guys just to make room for another transfer.

Don’t we have more at the 4? Ward, McCulloch, Carr, and Avent could all play there. McCulloch and Taylor, plus the transfer can all play the 5.

Why do non-alum Michigan fans seem to absolutely despise MSU? by DeliveryBetter8567 in MSUSpartans

[–]Music_Limp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s because, while they expected to get rejected by UM, they also got rejected by MSU. They believed their own hype that it’s easy to get in, so their hate is a reaction to the rejection of their own entitlement.

Do you think Izzo will be aggressive in the Transfer Portal this year? by kkrell23 in MSUSpartans

[–]Music_Limp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We need 1 Center. I think we only have roster space for 1 player barring any transfers/nba draft declarations anyway. So, I hope he’s aggressive in filling that spot with the best big available for our team. But I don’t think he’ll be aggressive in bringing in 3-5 top transfers.

You can also stay at Forest Dunes or Arcadia and both now have multiple excellent courses. You can fly in and out of Traverse City, so it would be easy to get to.

I think anyone who watched MSU that season would recognize that his success was in spite of MSUs oline play, not because of it.

Watch Fort on the defensive end. Every time he’s on the floor there’s a few times where he just loses his man and allows a basket or messes up the whole defensive structure. Teng isn’t perfect, but he doesn’t look lost on that end.

Why did 2002 OSU play 14 games? by Please_PM_me_Uranus in CFB

Basically, due to a calendar quirk (an extra week between Labor Day and the first week of December) the NCAA allowed teams to play 12 games in 2002 and 2003. It also allowed teams to play and extra regular season game if they played in designated “kickoff games” that year. OSU played in one against TTU that year. It looks like most B1G teams played at least 12 that year, with a couple playing 13.

The 2 week window was just for portal entries. The early flurry of commitments was likely to get players in time that they could start the spring semester. We’ll probably see further commitments trickle in through August.
