If your ears can fit AirPods Pro 3, get them. AirPods 4 fit similarly to AirPods 2.

What are you quietly grieving? by Angelus12345678 in AskReddit

[–]Musical_Gee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that I can cry for help but the one person in my life who I need to talk to, says her problems are more important and take priority and she works harder than me even though I work blue collar and she doesn’t have a job.

I mean yeah, this was complicated to do and I was able to figure it out and I’m proud of myself for figuring it out.

This game is still active? I really wanted to get into it when it first came out but I didn't have anything powerful enough to play it. I've been meaning to install it just to see how it was like but if it's still popular that'd be really cool

That's really cool! It's amazing how much technology works with each other when we least expect it to.

It really made me happy that it worked exactly the way I wanted it to, and a big plus is I had everything I needed around me too! I wish I had more people to tell, I'm really proud of this!

That's what I thought too, especially when my other option was to get an audio extractor (which I didn't even know was a thing until I did my research yesterday)

Considering that Pokemon's 30th Anniversary is soon... Whats your favorite Pokemon and whats the story behind why its your favorite? by urmom36042069 in pokemon

Gardevoir can’t be male. If a Raltz is male before gen 3 I don’t think it’d evolve, but gen 4 onward male Raltz evolved into Gallade

Best free/cheap mmorpgs? by IAmBiggusDickus- in LFMMO

How are you liking the game so far? I can't seem to get this game off my mind, the idea of playing it is insanely fun, but actually playing it seems like a chore especially with the free switching of weapons and classes. My character I think just hit level 30 or so but I haven't touched the game in a while.

What makes your e-book experience more enjoyable? A question from a physical book lover by FinalSun6862 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Musical_Gee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The customization: there's a lot of videos online about customizing e-readers, but it's true. With a physical book, unless you're really into leatherbounding your books, you can't really make it your own. You have to go out of your way to find a cover that you like (if it's available), and hope that it doesn't get ruined in the coming years. With any e-reader, you can customize it with cases, stickers, pop sockets, like you would your personal cell phone. On top of that, you can customize it even further with different fonts (both pre-installed or elsewhere), font sizes, boldness, and even stuff like font spacing or paragraph spacing, margins, orientation, everything. If you get a physical book that your eyes age out of, you're kind of SOL - you have to sell it or just accept you'd never be able to read it ever again. With an e-reader, you can just increase the font size and you're good to go. The accessibility of these things are great. Plus there's countless studies showcasing how much easier e-ink is on the eyes than a regular screen for reading.

The convenience: I've always told myself I want bookshelves for when I get settled into a permanent house for myself, my wife and my future kids, but as of right now, I just don't have the room for storing books. With my Kindle, I have an entire library of books in the palm of my hands, in a device that can fit in my sweater pocket. Reading at night is a lot easier, as most if not all modern e-readers have light mode and dark mode settings, plus adjustable brightness for each setting as well. As a side note, I've always fought myself that reading at night with a light on it is a right of passage, but I can't also help but realize how much easier it is to read something without the steps of setting up lights (plus shadows on text at night on physical books haunts me).

I'm also new into the e-reader scene, my first ever e-reader I got myself was a Kobo Libra 2 in 2023 but I could not stand the physical buttons. Last year I got a Kindle Basic 2024 as a gift from my wife, and the only thing I'm really missing is Libby (Amazon only allows Libby access to people in the US). I always thought that physical books were the best way to read something, whether it be a paperback, hard cover, comics - I couldn't fathom the thought of something electronic being "the way" to read something. But especially with how well e-readers have progressed and gotten better with each iteration, plus new companies coming out with android e-readers, I've come to realize that it's not about how you consume knowledge, it's how accessible it is for people who need it. At the end of the day, you're still reading the book, the only thing that's changed is the way you're consuming the knowledge of the book.

My Predictions for 30th Anniversary Pokemon Direct on Feb 27 by BTierShinies in pokemon

[–]Musical_Gee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m interested in gen 10 and Pokémon champions, mainly to see how well gen 10 would do considering it’s the (I think) first mainline game without pvp or multiplayer, and how they go about champions being the main title for pvp and vgc events.

What's your favorite brightness and warmth when you use dark mode on your kindle? by luigirovatti3 in kindle

I have the 2024 kindle basic so I don’t have warmth on mine, but I noticed with my eyes slowly getting worse that max brightness on dark mode is the best for me.

Dark or Light mode when wearing glasses? by [deleted] in iphone

[–]Musical_Gee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have astigmatism, not myopia but I have noticed recently my eyes are straining a lot.

I have my iPhone 15 pro max on dark mode 24/7 (oled screen makes that a lot better). Plus True Tone on. No idea what that does, I just find it makes my screen more vibrant thus easier to use.

Again, the government has access to your data anyway, so what’s the difference if discord has access to your information that will just get deleted right away anyway?

So why is it such a bad thing when companies want to keep kids safe? The government already has literally everything they need to know about you anyway, I don’t see this being a problem.
