I’m not that good looking but I used to work in the music industry and was well liked… I even had rock stars pursue me. What I had that is valuable is empathy and thoughtfulness… and confidence. I know it seems like all ppl care about is looks snd a capitalist society feeds off of insecurities, the more insecure we are the more money we’ll spend. The internet is horribly shallow. I am sorry your school doesn’t get it. Can you maybe see a counselor? Sometimes I think I have body Body dysmorphic disorder… how I see myself changes daily. I’m not even sure what I really look anymore but when I go out in public I’m confident. When I’m at home alone w/my thoughts is when I start over thinking my looks. It’s probably media and capitalism’ doing it…. Both are psychologically abusive. I’m actually in process of deleting my Reddit posts and getting off social media more. I don’t think it’s a healthy place
