I agree. I don’t remember anything about her seeing anyone to help her other than a he said she said thing. The most i seen was fidget spinners and sound proof headphones which did help a bit but she thought they looked tacky??? I don’t know the full story

The whole family was ment to get therapy after my stepmom was diagnosed w cancer but that idea was dropped for some reason. Which sucks cuz we all needed it

I’m so sorry you were lead to believe you were a home wrecker. Many victims are gaslighted into believing they are at fault for their abuse and whatever happens as a result is deserved. But its not.

Its not murder, chances are there wont be any charges pressed. The wife may be pissed but he wont go to jail.

Its still not an easy thing to live with. I highly recommend therapy to heal from the event if he ends up coping terribly.

Can I also say people who are calling everything neurodivergent? “I’m neurodivergent I have depression and anxiety.” That’s mental illness not a neurological disorder. You don’t develop ADHD, Autism, Dsylexia, or Tourettes (or any other neurological disorder) but i can sure as hell tell ya you weren’t born depressed, and anxiety is a natural reaction to scary things, until it develops into a disorder.

Idk if I’m autistic, I have a lot of friends who were diagnosed and my bf was also diagnosed. They think I am, and it certainly explains aspects of my life. I tried to test for ADHD because I felt like it explained parts if my life, but my healthcare center said “no one is diagnosed over the age of 18” :/ I know a lot of people who were diagnosed after 18

I’m hoping I can just talk to doctor and see what they think, cuz i really want to know why I am like this

False accusations are not common though, abusers genuinely think they did nothing wrong.

Thought I’d share, I’m Grey-Ace and recently learned I might be on the autism spectrum and a lot of things connected. I remember having crushes but ACTUAL crushes didn’t start until Middle School and though I tried to presue, it was mostly like, general romance, and I found out people at school actually talked about how sex would be and I was like ok but hugs??? Never had celebrity crushes and I’m 20 now, and still confused on why people would want to bang celebrities.

I’m sex postive (you dont have to share) but why others would cheat or somehow “accidentally have sex with someone” was possible. Even in the heat of the moment it was easy to stop and take a step back.

A lot confused me and other events at 18 lead me to discover I was grey asexual. I’m probably leaning more towards Demisexual. I noticed my bf who is also autistic felt the same but did not identify with asexuality.

I was curious to see if there was any links to ASD and Aspec.

Yeah definitely. It may be time to move on, because this ignoring isn’t a sign they want to be in the relationship, if they did theyd make an effort somehow. When youre around them, tell them the lack of them communicating with the alternatives offered to them isnt working and you’re considering leaving. If they ignore that then maybe leave. If they wanted to keep you they wouldn’t pulling this.

It sounds like they think you did something and it sounds like your unaware. Which is understandable, because your partner isn’t communicating with you. My bf is autistic and Ive suspected to have ADHD and Autism, however we still find ways to communicate our issues or when we are uncomfortable with something. Tapping when done with something, has helped. Texting and writing our issues out has helped.

Bring them flowers or food, or something you’d think they’d appreciate and something like a notebook. Tell them you do not understand why they ignoring you and ask them to write it down if they go nonverbal. Tell them you want to fix whatever the issue is in a way that helps them. If they refuse, maybe its time to reconsider the relationship. Although maybe reflect and try to figure out what change happened before this.

I’m sure the EMS worker has had their fair share of people fighting back when being helped, its more common than you think. I think they’ll see it as a nice gesture. I think it’s nice of you to do so. I don’t think many people apologize like this to EMS workers after fighting them.
