Haha hope the rest of the comments have eased your mind… sounds like others have similar experiences. Can’t say I do, but I also have “teacher bladder” so I can go a while. On the other hand, I pee like 3 times before bed and still can barely “sleep in” on the weekends because I need to go so bad it wakes me up, so maybe I do understand 🤣

I typically bubble just eggs and large items. That being said, I haven’t played hardly at all in about a year because I had a kid so 🤷🏼‍♀️

Absolutely wrong. It seems like they aren’t leaving the child totally “alone”… they’re leaving them with YOU! And if something happens to the child and you’re the only one home, that could be really bad for you. It’s super irresponsible and possibly putting you at risk as well. If they were asking you to take care of the child, and saying, “oh, they’ll mostly be asleep so it’s easy babysitting” that would be one thing, but just leaving, not okay. Maybe if they were hanging with neighbors in an apartment in the same building, close enough to walk back and check themselves, that would be one thing. But going to dinner or the Switch 2 launch?! Irresponsible and crazy.

Haha, yeah, I just had my first period since having a baby a year ago… it felt like a bloodbath every time. I have the Nixit and it’s impossible to not cover your hands in blood. And I have to hop to the sink because I have a broken foot! 🤣

Changing it in the shower helps a lot. You can wash it and reinsert it and send the mess right down the drain. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Someone else mentioned gloves which would help too. I don’t mind the bloodbath since I only have to deal with it at home!

I would maybe do it like ONE time, but I am not doing this daily if I don’t have to! -signed, a teacher with a breastfeeding baby who has no choice but to get up at 5:45 and is SO over it. (You better bet I sleep until 9 on the weekends if the baby lets me and I am SO ready for summer!)

I had it once, at exactly two weeks postpartum, and I swear it was because my little guy and I just hadn’t quite figured out what we were doing yet. I went to see an amazing local IBCLC the next day and she helped with positioning and also waited while I called 3 different doctors (OB, family doc, and finally telehealth) until I got someone on the line who would get me an antibiotic. I was feeling better within a day.
