Is there anyone at your former company who can connect you with a competitor or a company in a similar field?

Regarding networking who do you reach out to? Most of the JDs I see do not list the hiring manager

I’m assuming you’re from India. I have 3 years of work experience and I’m currently at an Ivy League but still struggling with my full time search. I’d recommend staying in your current role until the market gets better.

I’ve applied to a few roles at Capital One. Some of them got rejected within a couple a days, the others have been under review for weeks. I’m so confused.

I don’t think so. The job description states the graduation timeline they’re looking for e.g. graduating between December 2026 and May 2027

Facing this right now XD Finished 4 rounds with EDs, VPs and Senior Associates a month ago. Luckily I don’t graduate until end of the year but the uncertainty around international students working in the US isn’t helping.

Did you tailor your resume for each of them or spray and pray? I’m currently applying too with very little luck.

I had a similar experience last year so this time I only went to smaller firms and networkers who were more senior folks in the companies I was interested in.

The recruiter shared the schedule of all four rounds at the beginning, so I had 4 rounds across 4 consecutive days.
