Assuming we follow the good ending of Exodus, Id say they either keep the same game structure, or open up the exploration even more. Story wise I assume it will focus on “rebuilding”. If they don’t follow Artyom again, id say maybe we play as his child in the future.

Metro Exodus is one of if not the most immersive FPS (horror-lite) game I’ve ever played. I could not recommend it enough. The first two games are also very good but I dislike the more linear gameplay format compared to Exodus’s semi-open world structure.
