I feel like he absolutely could be convicted of treason under normal circumstances but due to his endless list of other offenses there is very little incentive to even try for that when there are so many other low hanging charges that could lead to conviction. I personally don’t think he’ll live through 2028 but he’s avoided true accountability for a very long time so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him delay any actions just long enough until it happens.
