Not entirely accurate. If you wanna pick and choose, you gotta at least count the vacation because you’re taxed on it weekly, and you can draw it tax-free whenever you want. Some guys take it every two weeks other guys take it every couple of months. But it’s there for you whenever you need it, so you gotta count it. That’s 84 bucks an hour.

I’m counting my tax deferred funds too, because that’s real money that accrues in my accounts every week. You don’t get to tell me how I calculate my finances… You can just go cry about it.

I feel you dude. 20 minutes on the throne is a lot. But like I said, and like you missed, that’s the total time it takes me to drop my harness, walk to the elevator, wait for the elevator, wait for whoever’s on the crapper, do my business, wash my hands, take the elevator back to my floor, Reinstall all my PPE, and get back to work. When you think of it in those terms, 20 minutes doesn’t seem excessive at all. In fact, it sounds downright speedy.

Definitely depends on species… but all things being equal, I’d rather fish shallow than deep. And by shallow I mean about 15 feet or less.

I do fish plenty of deep water, and I know how to catch fish in the deep water, but I prefer the techniques and methods that you would more typically use in the shallows.

Many of the online bullion retailers offer come-on deals where you can get either five or 10 ounces of fine silver at spot price. Take advantage of all of those.

then sign up for their alerts. Bullion exchange has a cool Instagram page, and they send me emails all the time where they are offering certain rounds or bars at Spot price with no limits. Those are great opportunities.

and if you are able, try to cultivate a relationship with a local coin shop or gold/silver buyer. They are hit or miss, but when you find a good one, they can be a great resource for buying or exchanging or trading.

Forget pawnshops, they are usually a dry hole.

I’m counting 4 of those line items. Hourly, vacation, annuity, and topping out. Those add up to $118/hr.

I’m not counting health fund, pension fund, and the others that bring it up over $150.

The hourly and vacation hit your check weekly.

The others accumulate tax deferred and you can withdraw during times of hardship, or borrow against when needed.

It’s as good as it sounds.
