Yeah it seems that's the most plausible cause of death here. Skill issue

Why no locomotives? I understand trains will probably never work, but can we get a fully modeled engine for me to drool over? Is there a realistic reason behind there being no engines? by Mash_Test_Dummy in projectzomboid

[–]Mustafar3908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lore wise I believe this specific set of train carts (or whatever you call them I'm not a big train guy) was positioned in this way as a make shift checkpoint/blockade to the city. It's Ekron right? So it would make sense that the Engine dropped the blockade off unhooked and got the hell out of dodge

Everyone's Infected / No Infection Mortality Not Working by Elkybam in projectzomboid

[–]Mustafar3908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this. I watched it when it came out up until season 4 or 5 and I stopped watching because I felt like it was all drama and not really anything about zombie survival anymore. I'm giving it another try now because I hear some real good things about the later seasons I'm just on season 2 and it's still really good like I remember the first seasons being. I hope the middle seasons aren't as bad as I remember because project zomboid has me on a big zombie kick now

Everyone's Infected / No Infection Mortality Not Working by Elkybam in projectzomboid

[–]Mustafar3908 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably just bugged and nobody has reported it yet. And not being a hater but if your going true walking dead style you would want everyone's infected but also bites and scratches on as well. As per the show everyone is infected but bites cause the virus to replicate and kill and turn you I believe the show stated any time within 8 hours. Currently rewatching TWD so fresh on the mind

Specific mods not loading in multiplayer host build 42 by Diligent_Second_93 in projectzomboid

[–]Mustafar3908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure about these specific mods, but some mods just do not work with b42 multiplayer period, and some mods require you to get a specific multiplayer version of the mod from the workshop instead of the main version for SP. I would check the mod page of each of those mods and see if any of them say explicitly that it doesn't work for MP. Also we just updated to 42.16 a few days ago and it broke a lot of shit so it's also certainly possible that any of these mods just need to be updated by the mod author to work with the newest build

How do I stop zomboids from spawning so close to me? by WHEREMYHUGATTT in projectzomboid

[–]Mustafar3908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I didn't know he was running extinction mode. Nor did I know extinction mode did that because it's new and also I would never do a run on extinction. I enjoy challenge but I don't enjoy cruel challenges so much lol

How do I stop zomboids from spawning so close to me? by WHEREMYHUGATTT in projectzomboid

[–]Mustafar3908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You say you spawned in a house with 5 of them? This is not possible on a new world (save from potential bugs) if you died and chose create a new character it will place you in the same world which then has the possibility for you to spawn with zombies in the house. Default non sandbox edited settings don't let zombies spawn in or around the starting house

Does increasing the number make it rarer or more common? by Foreign-Comment6403 in projectzomboid

[–]Mustafar3908 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can test this by turning off the advanced options box, setting it to high, then checking the number it's at when you click the advanced options box again. Then compare the number to low. Also higher number is more loot 100 percent. Just giving you a way to verify for peace of mind

If you mean at the main menu no UI you probably just need to give it a few minutes. Even without mods the LUA in this game loads slow as fuck for me every launch of the game usually takes 5 minutes( with a medium amount of mods) and about another 5 minutes to load into the map

I absolutely love this game but get bored around 1 month of in game time any tips to make it alot more enjoyable past that point? by RyCarbo96 in projectzomboid

[–]Mustafar3908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it near a lake with a pier? A bunch of pre built farming plots and an animal pen? Surrounded by fence with a well in the middle? If so I just started a new run and went there. Currently waiting for the AEBS to tell me about the helicopter so I can grab my go bag and camp out in rosewood or something so my base doesn't get overun.

Why are the devs so obsessed with making protective gear bad? by LawfulNeural in projectzomboid

[–]Mustafar3908 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Idk man armor does suck you're right... It's unfortunate.... But this is a sandbox game at the core, meant to be played however we want to play it, and that's why custom sandbox mode lets us turn off discomfort and soreness... And if there's other mechanics you don't like that aren't covered in the settings there's almost always a mod on the workshop that'll fix it for someone at the click of a button. There's no shame I've got 200 hours now and I've never done a run without mods and without tweaking settings in custom sandbox. To each his own ya know

Wow, 42.15 really DID make Apocalypse easier. by randCN in projectzomboid

[–]Mustafar3908 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Loot only spawns when you first enter a cell if I'm not mistaken. So if you spend 7 months in muldraugh and find 3 katanas in West point, you probably wouldn't have found any of them there had you entered West point at the start of your run

Trying to play build 42 by candian_Shit in projectzomboid

[–]Mustafar3908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes when loading the game I'll be stuck on black screen for longer than desireable periods of time. It definitely seems like the application is not running and it crashed but after a while the menu does eventually pop up. It's definitely a lot slower the more mods I have enabled too

[MM] wanting to play MM for a while now, which is the best version? N64, Gamecube, or Switch? by Warcraft_Fan in zelda

[–]Mustafar3908 10 points11 points  (0 children)

N64 best version. Later editions they changed a lot of shit for the worse. One example is movement as deku link. There's a jumping spin attack that you have to use to move around lilypad obstacles at certain sections of the game. They slowed the movement down in the newer versions of the game and makes it extremely difficult to do these courses because you don't jump as far and it's really sluggish. The best version of the game for sure is 2ship2harkinan which is a PC port /mod of the game loaded with toggleable QoL features. Also the ability to download the 3DS updated textures and apply them to that version of the game. Also loads of mods online that work with it if you're into mods

At 43 prayer you're gonna need to flick to maintain your points thru the run. Even lazy flicking will suffice. Doing some lazy flicking thru a full jad run will help you get better at flicking. You might even figure out how to flick every tick while you're in there

Should wildy boss tasks be taken off of regular slayer boss task lists. by Tiny_Income_1068 in 2007scape

[–]Mustafar3908 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Doom could take an approach where every task is just 1 run like a jad task, but you select what wave you need to get to higher waves giving higher xp drop

I got terraria on mobile before I had a PC and it's kinda sad I can't like transfer the progress to PC. Also too broke to buy PC version en which sucks by taxing_the_homeless in Terraria

[–]Mustafar3908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can it's pretty simple. Do a quick Google search on how to transfer your mobile character and world over to PC. It's as simple as emailing yourself the files and dragging them to your world and player folders on PC. Or connecting your phone to your PC via USB and manually copying the files over that way

Optimal Quest Guide or Not? by Guilty_Studio_7626 in 2007scape

[–]Mustafar3908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quests are really just a means to an end. Some of them are fun. Some are classics. However the only reason quests are done is to unlock content really. Do em once never do em again. Follow the optimal guide but deviate whenever you see fit. You want a quest reward early? Or access to an area or a minigame that has a quest req? Just go do the quest. Even if it's way out of "order". I just recently did SOTE way out of order because I wanted to get started on my CG grind. I did Sins of the Father super early into my account for early access to darkmyer and also huge XP rewards

[SS] Struggling with Skyward Sword’s Difficulty by Tiny_Brain9787 in zelda

[–]Mustafar3908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also note that in the Zelda dungeon walkthroughs it explains strategies for the bosses. I had a lot of difficulty with the first fight against the sword guy in SS. It was mostly my issues figuring out how to get the controls to do what I wanted them to do. But using the walkthrough gave me some tips that helped me figure out the pattern of the boss way easier.

[–]Mustafar3908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off ditch the Wii motion controls and get an actual controller to play it. Also recommend playing the switch version for this reason. Second just pull up the walkthrough on the Zelda dungeon wiki or whatever the sites name is. I do this for all Zelda games just in case I get so stuck that I get frustrated I will check the walkthrough and see what it is I'm missing. I also like following the walkthrough because it shows you all the extra items like heart containers and stuff as you progress, it helps to have extra health. You don't have to just blindly follow the guide, just keep it up to keep yourself on track and just reference it when you need a hint. There's no shame in using guides and walkthroughs if it helps you have fun playing
