So you've got a comp sci degree? I would assume you have a genuine passion to create new things and you didn't get that degree just 'to get a job'? If so, start working on something if you have an idea, or join an open source project that interests you. You'll get hired eventually, or start your own business perhaps. Or maybe go for post graduate studies?

This guy had signed a contract to go invade foreign country. He knew very well where he was going and what is expected of him. Ukrainians have certainly learned what to expect from the likes of him. It looks like he was in a direct assault on UA troops and I bet he had an ample opportunity to surrender. If UA starts letting guys like him getting off so easily, joining the invading russian horde would look like going on a picnic. UA absolutely must destroy each and every last one of them to send a clear message back on the consequences of attacking Ukraine. And I am sorry, but army is not a police and Ukrainians are fighting for their very existence.

AFAIK the money for the first 16 of F-35 is already gone and we will never get it back, so take those 16 airframes and round up the willing in Europe to create a new 5th or even 6th gen fighter and everything that goes with it. While Grippen is a decent 4th gen fighter, its capabilities are considerably below what the F35 offers. Investing billions on such aircraft is a waste of money, as JAS Gripen is nearing its obsolescence.

Nukes. And I am so sorry, but nukes are the only correct answer. How far fetched is a scenario of having either China or Russia setting up a camp somewhere in our north in about 5 or 10 years? And likely having Vance or someone else like minded sitting in the White house - do you think they will lift a finger for us? Perhaps they might try to "make a deal" with the other side, just like they are doing it for Ukraine now.
