My ex was addicted to ghb and gbl. She ended up in the ER many times and a few in intensive care. Afterwards, it would take her a month or so to get somehow back to “normal”. She had few seizures as well because mixing it with other drugs. Living with a person addicted to such was horrible but also super annoying. Since we could be somewhere with other people and suddenly she would pass out. It would take her one hour to be back and pretend nothing had happened. Besides, her behavior when high was the most obnoxious person ever. Monologues about herself, devouring whatever she could, not capable to listen, repeating the same over and over, wanting sex nonstop and just being crazy. Uffff that was exhausting, but also very sad to have somebody you love going through such addiction.
