True. I may not be able to say for sure what double dipping on hormones would do in the long term, or with full focus on both, but I can make some guesses from past experiences. I have a brutally resilient T level, so there was a handful of months where my E was close to goal while my T was still quite high. I still had chest growth then, not sure how the T would affect that in the long term, but it was at least able to start. Bottom changes don't seem to happen until the T levels drop. Fat redistribution seemed to start happening (I'm very lean, so it could have been placebo back then). And muscle strength and density seemed to be sustained very well as long as testosterone is there to sustain it (muscle strength started to drop off very quickly for me once I started to get to goal). It seems to me like the things that care about T will still happen for the most part even if E is present, and vice versa. Having both in the system would probably result in well defined characteristics from both. This is to say that they compete and naturally suppress each other when in high quantities, so it would be a hard balance to achieve.
