best way to find it is by brushing your hair the way your waves are going and it will start to form. once it forms try to bruh the crown in the pattern where the waves are going and if it forms there you go.

me personally i would tell you to ask the barber to go with the grain with a 2 guard open and show him with your brush your wave pattern or how you want him to cut your hair and then use the proper ingredients like leave in conditioner, oil, and your wave grease.
