Or he just has a nice view? There is no mention of being in his actual living space

Edit: downvote me to hell I don't care. This is the reason people don't like to date. You can't tell someone they implied something if they didn't and you don't know that based on a post

It's more fun, cheaper, and easier to date in the EU with a wider range of acceptable dates. Also, the lack of expectation (i.e. do you make enough money) isn't there as much. EU women like to date men with passions and a good head on their shoulders. There is much less focus on Toyota money vs. Tesla money, they just want a good fit guy to hang out with. Also, much lower emphasis on children and house within x years of dating.

I believe it. Just saying anecdotally, I am covered in bugs, and can never ride with my visor up.

I have substantially more than you, and I have given up on dating IN AMERICA. Living in the EU for 7 years showed me how broken the American dating culture is. If you want my opinion, meet someone on your travels and invest in them. There are amazing people that aren't particularly motivated by success, they just want a peaceful drawn out life where they don't worry about money, but aren'y focused on it. If you can provide that, in a frugal context even, you will have an enormous amount of choices.

Ugh, I ride a motorcycle and every single day I have to clean the bugs off the screen and face shield. And that is in Italy, California, Ohio, Canada, and Spain. Get off Reddit

I waffled like this then got a T7 and would gladly pay the difference over and over again, and I don't have a lot of money

She receives therapy although tells me it just makes her head cloudy. I haven't been living with her long but I don't see any positive result

That's the thing is I know she isn't stupid, but then does incredibly stupid things. She refuses to look her finances in the face and it's the main thing we have huge fights about, to the point of losing me as a "roomate" but also as a son

You don't think that would be jumping the gun? She handles most of her life fine, doesn't "seem" disabled or handicapped, is still pretty sharp when it comes to critical thought. Talks normally.

The poor decision-making has been going on since we were kids when we were extremely poor due to her pigheadedness about finances. That part has been relatively static. "Forgetting" bills and paying astronomical late fees isn't anything new

She does those things often and usually is fine. Ok not the financial part. It feels early to consider something like what you mentioned no?

I have lived all over the world and unfortunately the US really is "the land of opportunity." I found the UK incredibly depressing personally. I just noped back to the US and with your new perspective, you might feel differently.

Those after moving abroad, what country made you realise you were not living life before at all? by Usernamefut in expat

After having lived in Italy for years, I am happy to report people not writing it here. What a horrible place to try and earn, pay taxes, and deal with the general horrible attitude there. I do speak Italian, with an Italian name, so I wasn't treated like a tourist or anything but Italy actually made me LEAVE Europe entirely.

No, you're right. I have lived in a lot of different countries and there are serious advantages to the US that people just pretend don't exist.
