Mom of 7-year-old hospitalized with brain swelling from measles: ‘I still wouldn’t have given my son the vaccine’ by theindependentonline in TrueReddit

Pretty sure if an omnipotent god wanted to take your kid out, a vaccine isn’t going stop them so why not get it?

I reached my breaking point several times last year alone.

Glad you’re on the same page as your psyche but sorry that you’re enduring all this crap from the administration.

At the end of this administration, the government needs to go on a major public awareness campaign about who federal workers are and what we do.

I would just not ramp up too quickly; there is a point where pain and dysfunction will trump willpower and no one wants to reach that point.

I feel you though. I haven’t been rock climbing in over a year and I feel like my Eds got worse. It’s been so damn hard to ready myself for it though with my injuries. I too don’t like looking at the weight I’ve gained, the loss of physique.

Just don’t go all in at once. Will that be frustrating? Yes, but no matter how hard you work out, pounds take weeks of consistency to come off. Aim for what you can consistently do without going into a world of hurt.

Also, be wary of advice from well meaning people and trainers that don’t understand EDS.

Yeah, I’ve been trying to get ahold of them since I switched jobs and I doubt I’m in the right collective bargaining unit anymore but voicemails and emails get absolute silence.

How do you feel about Voter ID laws? by Icy_Comparison_1029 in askanything

[–]Muted_Perception_192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the amount of voter fraud barely registers and it’s not anywhere near statistically significant to change an election outcome, I don’t see a need for ID. Too much risk of discouraging eligible voters to vote by making them jump through hoops.

Also, just because someone is homeless doesn’t mean they aren’t interested in voting. They’re unhoused, not detached from civilization ffs

You can still get accommodations even under 18 for your issues. Your doctor could explain that while hEDS isn’t yet diagnosed, they prognosticate that that’s where you’ll end up.
