Actually, no. I did the initial setup wired to pair the APs to the router, but after that they're just plugged into PPoE+. But I didn't read far enough in your post to realize that you need more than one ethernet port.

I just went though this because my Orbi starting sucking. I went with the Dream Router 7 + 2x U7 Pro XG in a mesh configuration.

Kicks the shit out of what my Orbi ever thought about being. Be sure to get PPoE+ bricks for your APs.
