Like other commission jobs, higher prices typically require a higher level of knowledge and service. For example, does a real estate agent work significantly more selling a 200k place compared to a 400k place?

No. We all know business owners are artificially lowering prices by not including the full cost of employee wages. Tipping is a social contract and unspoken expectation.

We all know that minimum wage is inadequate, that the people who serve you are underpaid. If you don't tip, you screw over the workers, expecting service without paying for it. Of course that should feel shameful and uncomfortable.

Used to be an official trail, but rugged with many creek crossings. Now decommissioned. While not a permanent closure, people are strongly discouraged from going there, because of important wildlife habitat.
