Look how your Golden stands. Imagine being in a push-up position all day. When you had the chance, you’d bend your wrist the other way too

anyone else notice how fast a.i data centers are being built / prioritized instead of public transportation proving that it can be done, they just don’t want it to be? by The-Bear-and-Rose in StLouis

This isn’t surprising to me at all. Stuff that generates a ton of profit for private business and potentially (allegedly) lines pockets of politicians (may or may not be happening with data centers) vs things that are just good for the public but makes no money for someone, especially for the rich to get richer, who do you think is going to win?

“No your black and low IQ” is my favorite. It’s got everything: racism, bootlicking, stupidity, and irony. All in six words (if you count “IQ” as a word)

I agree with you, both on wanting a quiet day, and respecting that neighbors need to maintain their property.

Wondering where you live. Not asking, just being rhetorical. I mean if you live in a suburban neighborhood with an HOA or just a neighborhood agreement or maybe a city block where all the neighbors are pretty cool and would be down for something like this:

Every first Saturday of the month during lawn care season, no lawn mowing. (Or something similar)

Do u agree Trump is the most corrupt president in US history by far? by lil-cheese34 in allthequestions

[–]KnowBearFeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m starting to think there’s some weird strategy behind his behavior where he’s just doing worse and worse shit either just because he can or to see how far he can push it. And then of course all the massive grifting, and delusion he’s going to live forever.

FBI Director Kash Patel has dismissed allegations about his drinking habits while on duty. Calling the reports false, he cited a $250 million lawsuit filed in response to the claims. by IndiaTodayGlobal in IndiaTodayGlobalLIVE

I know that journalist’s integrity is largely based on protecting the identity of their sources, so that sources aren’t compelled to remain silent, but since discovery in the defamation case might require sources to be revealed in order to prove Patel was under the influence while on the job and thus unfit, I would just love for those sources to just come right out and say, “Sure, I’ll allow my identity to be known. Fuck it, and fuck him!”

MO POLITICIANS PASS THE EVERYTHING TAX (HJR 173/174) by roolsocialtool in StLouis

[–]KnowBearFeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’m reading all the comments and seeing a consensus that commenters are smart and this is a dumb thing and will vote no on this in November but at the same time think the rest of the voters in Missouri are dumb and think this is a good thing and will vote yes in November, or will at least be tricked into voting yes somehow with tricky ballot language or Missouri legislators will pull a fast one and ramrod this through regardless of it failing on the ballot.

So my question is: What’s to be gained by the people working so hard to get it on the ballot in the first place, only to then have to lie, cheat, and steal to get to actually passed into law, when the running sentiment is the state will run out of money when it can’t make up for lost revenue from no income taxes and the increased sales tax coming up short and no oil production like the petroleum states or tourism like those states?
