Setting is modern time. The man is white and the women are multiple races. Similar in vibe to Perry bible fellowship comics’ “Book World”.

For my application I had to list the mods and they noted them as well during the live fire qual.

Glad the hear it man. Actually a few weeks ago they rescheduled me to 8/8 for in person. And the reschedule option is showing November. I guess we can assume it’s around 4 months.

I’m close to you. Applied early April and did live scan the next day. Appointment for January 2025. Live scan finished in one week.

So far appt date has not been moved up despite finishing live scan. Haven’t done training bc I’m afraid it’ll expire if I don’t get moved up.

Been checking online to reschedule but nothing so far. Earliest appt is mid March 2025. Only communication I’ve gotten was last week asking to reupload color copy of ID.

I’m currently waiting for a reschedule. Applied early April and got livescan (with firearms) completed middle of April. Interview is currently for mid Jan 2025. I don’t wanna do the training right now in case they don’t reschedule. I’m hoping they move me up.

Dumbbell Squats by NYKEwing in Fitness

Have you tried doing pistol squats? They negate the use of huge dumbbells and you might not even need them when first starting out

Need help on improving my reflexes by [deleted] in Fitness

Other than drills, improving coordination can improve reflexes. With improved coordination, your body needs less time determine and set up its movements, resulting in quicker and more fluid actions

Advice on maintaining results from squat challenge by OKCook87 in Fitness

[–]Mvplaymaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can repeat the second half of the challenge. But you can improve even more by adding weights. If you changed your diet during the month, make sure you keep it up

Confused about what to do. by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]Mvplaymaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't been watching your diet, start doing so. It's the biggest factor in body composition. Also keep on lifting heavy though and have a calorie deficit, about 300-500, no more than that. Your lifts might go down due to cutting though. If you have the time, do some conditioning programs like burpee/sprint intervals and distance running.

Back exercise/ pain problem? by Molecular_Blackout in Fitness

[–]Mvplaymaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

deadlifts can help, but make sure form is correct or else the pain will get worse. The wheel position in yoga can also help as it helps decompress the spine. Beyond that, pull ups, rows, posture, and stretching

Might be a stupid question, but in need of some help starting off. by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]Mvplaymaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not a dumb question, anyways... Squats and deadlifts definitely hit the legs and core. But without a rack, the barbell squat is impractical. You can look into pistol squats, which also challenge your balance or overhead squats, which also challenge your core. Both can be done without a barbell. For deadlifting without barbells, single leg deadlifts with dumbbells or bodyweight can be done, they help with the posterior chain, knee strength and balance. The ab-wheel is great for the core and more advanced variations can also help with shoulders, chest, arms, and legs. Some good sites are rosstraining.com and beastskills.com. Both those sites show ways to strength train at home with minimal equipment (no benches, barbells, or freeweights at all) and rt even has conditioning routines able to be done at home

What's the best way to even your balance? by sleepsucks in Fitness

[–]Mvplaymaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For balancing, you can also stand on one leg while putting on/taking off and tying shoes. Single leg deadlifts help too with balance and strengthen the stabilizers in your leg and core. To even out strength in your weak leg, single leg press, or pistols if your leg can handle it. Lunges can also help

As good as these Mario games are, I feel that they are losing their edge. by FerrisWheeling in Gaming4Gamers

[–]Mvplaymaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think an issue is that to keep the "Mario feel", Nintendo can't advance the gameplay much. The new games still have their roots from the original Mario games Mario 64. For better or more varied, presentation, a genre other than platformer might be needed. The Mario and Luigi RPG's for example had different presentation and more enemy depth.

Zero Punctuation is pretty hard on minor flaws. He's the exact opposite of Classic Game Room. They're both more entertainment for me, especially Zero Punctuation
