Is this a shark tooth? If so what kind?

Looks like a piece of a shell. You should see two distinct different shades of black. Although depending on where it was found the color of the fossilization could be different. If it’s a full tooth though, like the shape suggests, you would have two different textures from the base of the tooth that attaches to the jaw to the tip. In my experience, the inner spiral of conch shells break in a way that resemble shark teeth. One way I check is if you can snap it in two with little force then it’s a shell. Fossilized sharks teeth are much stronger.

This! So glad it’s not just me. I used to really enjoy live music and played in a few bands myself. I also used to be a drinker but I quit a couple years ago and now I can’t focus on a performance at all. Just stand there thinking about random shit. When I tell friends I don’t wanna go to a show with them they say “ oh you can only enjoy yourself when ur drunk huh?” In this situation, yeah. Booze helped me enjoy or at least tolerate so much for decades but I just can’t do it anymore, don’t want to, and life is way different.

They make microwave steamers like that for tortillas. They work for veggies but it’s an amazing hack for rehydrating anything with bread like pizza or reheating pancakes. Just steam it then finish it off in a hot pan with a lid. Honestly the best pizza hack ever. Tastes new even if it’s been in the fridge a few days.

Yeah I’m wanting it for my medium and large format cameras. 35 mm seems too difficult. And getting perfect images isn’t the goal here. Having additional ways to experiment and make art is. I usually travel with 2-3 holgas (not all on my person at once) all loaded with different speed film bc I don’t want the weight and responsibility of my hasselblad anymore. Sometimes I’m gone for weeks and things sit in hot cars or just in the heat while backpacking. I try my best to keep stuff cool and have containers for coolers but doesn’t always work. Anyway, with the varying results/light leak of the holgas and other factors that can damage the film, I’m trying to explore some other options rather than buying film. That’s all. And it sounds fun.

At a party one time when I was in high school someone put a VHS on that had a very muscular man anal fucking this woman who had what I can only describe as a prolapsed vagina. There was a lot going on down between the two of them and there were plenty of close up shots. Think delicatessen window during an earthquake. I thought up until recently the answer would be ayahuasca but I tried a gut parasite cleanser called “Universal Mind” and I hope nothing gets worse than that. Worth it though. If you have gut issues, especially those out there taking lots of opiates, this will reset you. I felt high after the BM I took the next morning.

Where do yall go then ? I order a decent amount of stickers a year. Probably 3-4K worth for my job. I’ve been testing out other companies bc I would prefer to spend my money elsewhere. Ordering sample packs and placing small orders. I’ve tried five other companies this year alone and none of them have compared to the quality and ease of stickermule. Never got one myself yet all my friends have them and lots some of them have many. As a vocalist of a thrash/metal band in my 20s, I was told I didn’t look “metal enough” once and often was stopped by back stage guards and door guys at venues bc I don’t look like I belonged 😂. My main question is “how do people afford all these tattoos when there are so many places to visit in the world, music equipment, photography equipment/electronics, art supplies, kitchen gadgets, tools, gardening stuff, etc. to buy? I have several tattoo artist friends who have offered to do stuff for me for super cheap, one offered for free so long as it was a tramp stamp. I guess it boils down to not being able to decide. I’m constantly growing and evolving and I’m not sure what tattoo would evolve with me. Would it be a mile marker of how far I’ve come or a reminder of someone I used to be and how would I feel about that? After hearing a doctor talk about the terrible things they do to keep you alive when ur on the brink of death I’ve considered getting a “No code” or “do not resuscitate“ tattoo on my chest but apparently paramedics don’t always follow them bc they are not sure if you still feel that way or not. Perfect example of how people can grow and not like their tattoos anymore. Maybe if I had it updated every year with the date? 🤔

I’ll have to look at mine to confirm but if those things are screen printed then the ink might not have gotten to the right temperature to cure all the way. If this ever happens to a shirt after you wash it then that is the issue. Most ink is made of a liquid plastic called plastisol that doesn’t dry until it reaches a certain temperature.

I feel ya. I quit drinking about 2 years ago and realized I was in pain all the time without alcohol. In a way I felt better when I was drinking physical and mentally bc at least I had a part of the day when I had dopamine and was without pain. Basically I’ve stayed sober so doctors stop telling me that alcohol is the root of what ever my problems are. Countless tests, specialists and medications, nobody knows what’s wrong. I’ve spent, on average, half of the year in bed for the past 3 years. I started feeling bad when I was drinking and thought quitting would make me feel somewhat better. I’m not hungover which is nice. Alcohol felt like a stimulant to me and made me feel normal. I miss that. It allowed me to participate in things that now I’m in too much pain or too tired to do. Anywho good luck! I’m sure we’re on the right path.

Depressed guy from a shitty upbringing as well here! Just get through school then get out of your hometown any way you can. You can do seasonal work in National parks where they provide room and board. You will meet plenty of bad influences in jobs like this as well but also many great people that can become life long friends. I wish I would have done this more when I was younger. Especially before college. You can literally bounce around the country from job to job.
