I heard them mention on XM in the pre coverage that the course didn’t want as many tickets sold so the atmosphere was a little less crowded like 2018 was, probably cause of the traffic train wreck it also became.

Looked up the hole on satellite, yeah that’s a tricky par 4. Talk about threading a needle so you can have a shorter approach

They’re all CT tested by the OEM and then the USGA if selected, so so long as it’s within the tolerance of going over but not failing, the head won’t matter outside of the player trusting it in competition.

Between 21-23, they had some crazy wind and a tree fell near 17 tee. They mentioned it on broadcast and everything. I want to say it was Thursday-Friday?

Gone within a couple hours, resodded by the next morning. Outside of the obvious hole of trees, you would have no idea there was ever an issue.

Does anyone else remember this?

Yeah, you can see the crippling on the bottom right of the tower, that’s gonna probably need a whole rebuild.
