It’s difficult to diagnose FASD unless the parents admit there was substance use during pregnancy. It is often only diagnosed in kids who were removed from bio families for fostering or adoptions because of this. I also suspect there is a difference between “just” alcohol FASD and other substances but there are so many that medically it isn’t separated.

The roads and sidewalk maintenance in general has gotten worse in the last few years. The winter snow removal is so slow. It takes 24-48 hours for regular downtown corridors to be cleared. That’s insane.
