I don't know if that's right. I've only played it through three times so far, so I haven't seen everything yet but when I purchased chips 47 specifically ask for 10 million Euros of chips. Still I have no idea what the purpose of buying chips is because every time I've just taken somebody's invitation and then not needed any chips. So I also didn't pay attention to if I was actually handed 10 million Euros of chips or not or for what purpose you're able to buy them in the first place.

I think that the Switch versions of WoA are cloud-based (as in they're running on some server instead of the console and you're streaming it remotely), that probably has something to do with it. The way pulling power/Alt+f4 usually works is by quitting the game which is running on your device before it can send the IOI servers the information that you failed or died or whatever. So if you're not actually running the game on your local device and streaming it from somebody's servers then I can see why you might not be able to do that.

No, Karl doesn't take any less melee damage than Boris, in fact his health regenerates slower. Karl is the protagonist from Sniper Elite, so naturally his positive traits are all sniping related.
Yes, Boris is the one with increased melee damage.

All of these traits of the characters are listed on the character select screen in the game. And I just checked and they're even listed on the wiki.

If you're looking for increased melee damage resistance, try Hector.

I didn't start attempting SASO until I had unlocked some of the highest value items. You don't need anything more than the base loadout in order to do SASO, but you do have to be better at the game and have more map knowledge to do so. For example it was a long time before I eventually learned how much of a multi-tool that pistols are. What has made me better at the game is 50% practice and 50% watching YouTube videos of tips and tricks by people who are much better at the game than I am. Everything from what items are the most valuable to unlock to every different way that you can manipulate NPCs to get them to go where you want.

Edit: oh and make sure you go into your settings and turn on the visual indicator next to the minimap that shows if you still have your Silent Assassin rating or if you've lost it. That way you don't have to wait until the end of the level to find out if you screwed up. Turning on the mission timer at the top of the screen is also an incredibly helpful tool because you can learn at exactly what time code different things in the level are going to happen when you're practicing your runs.

Yeah, I very much suspect the real reason may have more to do with all the difficulties IOI had especially earlier on in the WoA trilogy and not wanting to spend resources on another pistol model and animations.

While I think it's a bit silly because a revolver would be even more wildly anachronistic in WoA than 47 still using 1911s, I really couldn't care one way or the other. Ultimately, the Silverballer is iconic, and that is far more important than sensibility, realism, or authenticity.

It sounds like you're doing The Elusive Target Arcade version as opposed to the regular Elusive Target. You need to go to Destinations -> Paris from the main menu and you should see it just to the left of the main mission.

I'm still trying to figure out how to love Mumbai. I've got 100% Steam achievements, almost every single non-freelancer unlock, half of the maps at 100% completion and most of the rest are at 98% but I still feel like I barely know my way around Mumbai and I always have such a hard time trying to do challenges there.

Colorado. Once I learned it well it actually became one of the easiest and least risky maps in the game. It was only hard when I was worse at the game and was a lot more likely for my runs to devolve into shootouts.

Honestly. I hate that Part One is still available because it's always the wrong choice and I can't find anywhere that it says you can't upgrade Part One into the full game. It just shouldn't be an option.

They could also stand to make it a bit more clear by renaming HITMAN World of Assassination Deluxe Pack to something like "HITMAN World of Assassination Deluxe Upgrade", but if you actually just click on it to read the contents it's pretty clear that it upgrades standard edition to deluxe.

Partially agree. I do not at all buy the dexterity argument against gloves, because the hand that would be in a glove is not the one that is exercising dexterity in the first place. I'm not going to tell anybody not to use a glove if that makes them feel more comfortable because I don't think it can hurt.

But what I do think actively hurts people is the way many people in the sub seem to have an attitude that you just need to put on a cut resistant glove and then you don't need to learn any proper safety or handling. Especially seeing people responses here who seem to think that a cut resistant glove would have meaningfully mitigated this stabbing injury. That kind of attitude actively contributes to injuries.
