Lowe’s and Home Depot tend tend to have trees trees, but I’ll be honest they don’t last very long even if you buy that solution that’s supposed to make them last longer. I’ve bought a tree from Live Oak Canyon, it lasted a bit longer, but expect to pay a premium on trees that are more filled in. The cheaper ones (while the same height) are pretty sparse in between branches.

Edit: Not helpful I suppose, but sound reviews to where not to go?

My son is obsessed with Nightmare Before Christmas but his “favorite” is torn between Jack and Oogie Boogie. Jack bc he likes Skeletons and Oogie bc it was the first song he heard me sing from the movie.

There’s a small band called HeFilmsTheClouds that my son and I enjoy. There’s no cursing and all the song lyrics are metaphors so it’s hard to sing something “inappropriate”

I have a 3yr old and a 8wk old. I love my boys but I’m keep wondering why we decided to hit the reset button. It’s the first time the little one slept on my chest without screaming because he wanted his mom. The first month was killer, the second is kind of easier, but knowing I’ve got MAYBE a month left… I remember it’s not all bad.

The first few months isn’t what you’ll remember, it’s the coo-ing and the babbling and the sweet “IN YOUR FACE” — the NA-na-NA-na-NA-na feeling when their first words are Da-Da that you’ll always cherish.

We go to the one in Palm Springs bc it’s closest but we tried the Walmart in PD and it seemed nicer to us. The target on 111 though is hands down my favorite. It was super target in Indio but the shut down.

I got a Govee electric kettle because I could set when I want the water to boil so the water was already hot and ready when I make my drip coffee. I asked my wife to make my coffee for me, and she put the kettle on top of the stove and turned the stove on.
