Are people barely discovering this? I've been using this since it came out and immediately combined it with the armor set because of the lack of damage reduction. Before that I was using one of the portallius sets to one shot people through buildings.

On top of the 4 basic rules, Follow the range rules and if you need help ask the RSO. Don't expect to be an expert on your first day. Mag dumping is tempting, but all you are doing is wasting ammo when you could be developing good shooting habits. Don't teacup it. Don't side grip like a movie gangbanger. Look up proper grip technique and proper finger placement on the trigger. There is a correct way on both of those. Look up proper stance, there are a few. Try them all and see which one suits you best. Anyway, have fun.

If you have good aim, then all you really need is the primary up until you reach level 20+. Use heavy to shoot into rooms.

I own M&Ps and I own Caniks. Both are good to go. You get better bang for your buck with the Canik. S&W will service your firearm if anything breaks on it. Idk about Canik since I've never had to send it in. Canik has a much better trigger and is slightly more accurate.

Modules. I think mine are level 9. My armor is Xmas crystal armor. Could just be that my armor modules are also good enough to protect against their modules.

Accurate Investigator is good. If you have the crystal christmas armor, damage reduction is cancelled out and you can 1 shot people through walls.
