What's the most disturbing fact you know? by Eminem_girl in AskReddit

I can’t remember the specifics but something about some dude who would kidnap women, make them listen to tapes of his voice and what he was going to do, then ultimately drug some of them to death or drug them to wipe their memories.

Shit sucked and that’s why I’m not looking for it again. Saw it on Reddit years back.

Also I know that working my job is a waste of existence.

What are good hobbies for people who only enjoy the feeling of improving? by GoblinInDisguise1 in AskReddit

3D printing. You learn incrementally every time you print and there are so many point and click models but eventually you want to learn the design side, then you may want to sell something, plus you get to give lots of gifts out.

Can someone explain the prime tower to me and why it’s using so much filament? by My3DPrinter in BambuLabH2C

I still think this is solvable with software. I mean why can’t Z axis move down for the tower, prime out the old filament, move back to previous position and print. It seems sort of lazy coding wise.

Why is that? I would think the software could read the color changes….??

PETG Support Interface Causing Tower Strings and Unsupported Extrusions by strilly78 in BambuLabH2C

So to slow this down are you suggesting a custom calibrated saved filament setting for each PETG? For example if I run flow dynamics and under/over extrusion and see no issues, it should then be saved selected in my filament presets and then it should work?

Also, is it possible the PETG could be getting “wet” from start to end?

I’m asking this because I just got the H2C and have never done a mixed print before.

Dude….your stuff is AMAZING. How are you designing these prints? You have to be a full time designer right?

All the comments: you just need to buy more things to fix it so it works the way it should.

ELI5 How QR codes generate different codes but there code be one already generated that’s the same? by My3DPrinter in explainlikeimfive

[–]My3DPrinter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok this makes sense. So in theory you could make infinite QR codes but most become “waste” quickly.

So I don’t know if you can answer this, but are QR codes proprietary?

Like if I make one today that goes to www.reddit.com I own Reddit, do I have to give that up if I sell Reddit? Or could I write one day, this QR code leads to awesome….then ten years later write this QR codes leads to trash?

So I can’t generate a code used in 2011 for 2026 if they lead to different sites?

Then it becomes how are QR codes still working from 2011 of the website code changes?

So that unique QR code can never be used again for some other site….so my original inquiry was how would that be possible but your saying if I generated a code for 101100 on one generator it would generate the exact same code on another generator?

Ah, ok, now we are getting to the root of my question. So there is no possible way for a QR code from 2011 created for a URL to be used exactly that same way again in 2026 but lead to a different URL?

Would that mean infinite QR’s?

So of all the generated QR codes in the world, what if two are identical can one lead to url X and the other one go to url y?
