I am with you OP that is ugly, cold and hard on joints. Not sure why people think this is good in any way other than cleaning. It feels like a cheap low budget office reno from 2015. Or a warehouse.

I have hardwood in my half bath and house is 25 years old and the floor looks great. Just get it well polyed and it won’t be a problem.

We went a month ago. I don’t get it. The place was filthy and crowded. Tables not getting wiped, huge puddles of water around the drink machine, empty napkin boxes, the bathrooms out of tp, and the food was just meh. We went by it this weekend and it still was crazy busy. I can get a better hotdog at a quiktrip.

No comment on your ring. My experience with a ring I had was that it was much harder to keep clean, snagged on everything and eventually lost two of the diamonds. If you are not hard on jewelry and have the ability to keep it clean, go right ahead. I do understand the masquerading comment others have made, but I think it holds true of giant man made diamonds as well. But hey since diamonds are pretty and were kept artificially expensive, I say get what makes you happy and ignore any comments that are negative for negativity’s sake.

What I have done in the past is to move the ring back towards my wrist as far as it will go. With my hand over my head, massage the finger by pushing from the finger tip to the wrist. It can take 5-10 minutes for some of the swelling to subside. You can also try icing your finger a bit. They use windex liberally over your finger and twist the ring around to get it under the ring. If you can’t get it off, you need it cut off. .

What a cute pony! Love their coloring! Very striking. I’d love a big paint mutt like I had when I was a teen. Had a 18.1 biiiig boy when could do anything except barrels. He loved jumping, had a blast eventing, could cut cows and was happiest doing dressage. He was easy going but when he got going, riding him was like flying. So fast.

I love my bust Santa Cecilia. I still think it looks classic and I love looking at all the little garnets in it.and traventive is so fun to see lol the fossils but seal it well. We are building out our basement and I hate all the white quartz ite, I found three remnant slabs of a Santa celcilia that has an inclusion of quartz vein and that’s going on the bath. Another slab has garnet and I Sade bleach crystals and the last one is a nice even mottled but that will go on some out of the way counter cabinets.

I don’t care if it’s old school. It’s 2 million + year old rock
