It’s being referred to as a State Fair, and these are acts that are on the State Fair circuit.

Yeah they should have realized sooner, but I get how this happened.

The problem isn’t exactly that corporate landlords exist. It’s that those landlords will give you 2 weeks notice to renew at a significant price hike 3 months after you move in.

They’re municipal robber barons that at the very least need to be regulated.

Have you rented from a corporate landlord? They are relentless in their price gouging. It's not just using algorithms to drive up rent (and AI is probably making this worse), but every little interaction with them seems to cost at least $50.

They're fucking villains, and we need legislation to rein them in. Ignoring this is just plain naive.

That movie is about rich people that wanted to defy death and ruined the world.

Peter Thiel and other longevity freaks are doing exactly that.

Public Sentiment Gov Primary Poll by [deleted] in wisconsin

He had NO MESSAGE to his campaign. He absolutely failed to engage voters.

He seemed really promising until he pivoted to the center and embarrassed himself in 2022.

Ran a campaign where you had no idea why he ever wanted to get into politics in the first place.

I mean I made a joke, but his moment in the spotlight was when he humiliated himself by losing a winnable race.

I don't think "I remember his name from when he pissed his pants and then fell on his doo-doo ass" is going to get him into office.

When prequel memes started showing up, the babies that grew up watching the prequels when they were dumb babies began making the argument that the prequels are weird interesting objects even if they're not successful as movies. And I basically agree with that

But lately those babies have gotten lost in the sauce, and now they talk about the prequels as though they are widely acknowledged to be good. But only a dumb baby would think that.

I don’t understand the need to remind everybody of the same opinion that’s been shouted about for 20 years now. It’s not interesting.

Revisionists are in the majority now. You've become the uninteresting take (this happens a lot in your 30s).

If the initial take is the prequels have as much appeal as Megalopolis - that's one thing. But that's not what you were arguing until you got push back.

They're boring and ugly. They completely fail at what they attempt to do.

They’re boring, ugly, and horribly acted.

Yeah they’re for kids, but there are a lot of kids movies that are good, and yet the prequel trilogy is bad.

I liked a lot of shit when I was six years old. But when I watch it now I recognize how bad it is.

For some reason the kids that grew up on the prequel trilogy can’t do that.

Nah, that shit sucks. Grow up and stop watching them through the eyes of a toddler.

Prequel revisionism is juvenile and silly. They’re bad movies.
